Wheeler isn't that good in most matchup. Not that this deficit is all on him, but he only plays well against guards he can out-speed. Roberts isn't one of those guards.

Beating Tennessee was probably the worst thing that could have happened. Got some of the fans back on board when you knew it was likely fool's gold. Cal and the players probably got big heads thinking they were back.

Wheeler continually plays so far to the side (damn near perpendicular to his man) that straight line drives are easy. When Wheeler does guard his man up top he is too short to harrasshis man.
