This is right. Someone misquoted me, Someone said I was going back to this person to make sure he is leaving. Both of those were wrong. Nothing has changed. They can believe, not believe, whatever. I thought it was interesting Mitch had a positive tweet about Cal yesterday. I think that’s the first one in a long time. Those guys are really bringing it to each other.

Recruit for UK or Calipari? Both are possibilities.
It can’t be any of the 23 class or Calipari wouldn’t have been able to mention their names and he commented on all the recruits
it’s possible his intention now or at some point was / is to look to move on and he’s communicated that . It’s possible that could change for myriad of reasons .
A recruit that won’t sign to play for Cal- but loves Ky.
A reclass? I don’t think there are any high profile recruits unsigned in 23, other than maybe Bronny.
Don’t think the OP ever claimed to have “sources”. It’s very possible to have an encounter with someone who is in the know of things without them necessarily being your source. There is a distinction between those two things. I have received a personal phone call from Mitch Barnhart before and chatted with him for about 5 minutes or so, doesn’t mean I know him or have any type of relationship with him. Just a one off type of thing.
Lots of keyboard warriors out there that just have to disagree with everybody. I wonder if they are ever happy with anything in life. Personally I would be shocked if Cal doesn't come back to coach this class coming in. He is under a lot of heat obviously, and well deserved, but I can't see him leaving before having the opportunity to coach those guys. Cal is not going to West Virginia or anywhere else. He will be at Kentucky for a few more years.

It’s not the best scenario for UK for him to leave after this year . His ‘23 class is loaded and ‘24 is a weak class , and patchwork with mid-majors thru the portal isn’t going to make anyone happy . The best scenario is announcing one October that ‘this is my last’ , and UK spends a year figuring out the roster for the next year , recruiting while telling kids who is likely the next guy and giving guys on the current roster that year reasons to potentially stay.
I don't know why a recruit would be asked that, considering that they can get out of their letter of intent anytime they want if the coach leaves or gets fired. On top of that players can transfer anytime they want to also.
Of course source means source of info being provided. Doesn’t mean he has close ties to the source which for some reason people find that to be damn near impossible like all those involved with athletic programs aren’t even human. He has also stated his tie to the unnamed source is professional and not personal. Not far fetched to believe. Doesn’t mean his source is correct.
Oh I hear ya and I’ll just say this and be done cause I think this is just another distraction. But it should sound odd to everybody that this guy is acting like he’s literally the only person on the planet other than “his source” that knows Cal won’t be coming back. And that’s his reasoning for not giving “his source” cause if it gets out then “the source” will know he told.
