As long as Cal thinks Collins is a 4 then we aren’t going to improve. He can actually be productive as a 5 in a guard oriented lineup catching lobs. It’s a disservice to Collins at this point.

I also wonder about Toppin’s “injuries”…he’s just seemed mentality not tapped in all year and borderline arrogant at times. This is complete speculation but it’ll be interesting to see how the injury timeline unfolds and if he comes back or not. If it’s legit injuries and not just team turmoil attitude stuff then I hope he has a speedy recovery
There has to be some team turmoil, they are out of sorts in every phase, this is a 7-8 team and they are taking it to us on our home court. I truly believe Cal has one foot out the door. I also think the players know it, and they don’t care at this point.

Oscar appears to be one of the nicest players to ever play at Kentucky who spoke up for his teammates. For that he got trashed by his coach. I am sure it didn't go over well with his teammates, and they appear to be giving Cal a message.

What the hell did I just turn on
We’re seriously down to So Carolina?

I swear we get worse every single game
Shouldn’t be surprised though

Well I’m fighting the flu right now..not sure how long I’ll deal with this
The Flu may be more enjoyable at this point.

I feel exactly the same way EliteBlue .. We need Toppin to be at least " good" for our team to be good . He would take heat off the guards and Oscar .... but he appears to be a head case to me .. so very talented .. but doesn't seem to have a drive about him

Exactly. Playing him at the 4 when he can't shoot or dribble is coaching malpractice from Cal.

Wow, OMG I never in my wildest dreams would I think I’d see a team like this under Cal, they make the Archie Goodwin team look amazing.
That team had heart. Goodwin caught heck bc he was the only person that could create and had to force a lot of things (similar to wheeler but even less around him). Jarred Polson was the PG for godsake.

2013 was also trending to be a tournament team until the Noel injury
