Happy for Toppin and the guys, think LSU is a solid team and that’s gonna be a good win. Question is can we keep this momentum going to a day game at Alabama?

It was a win which is what really matters unless you wanted to lose by 3.
Obviously a win is better than a loss
But to act as if it was some great win when your favored by double digits ........no it's not.
You want to see improvement especially with games @ Bama and @ UT coming up. It's not to say we can't come out and play well and win those games, but we didn't see anything tonight that would instill much confidence.
Honestly that was a loss on a neutral court or at LSU. But we need a W, any W we can get at this point.
So you saw no improvement with this team? We have been playing like crap, finally put together a good game against a bad team in Louisville. Then played an even better game against an even better team. Obviously LSU is no world beater, but that's clearly back to back games with improvement. Yes, we need to see how we play against a worthy opponent, but these are the games we played lately and from what I can tell there's been improvement. Let's hope it continues against Alabama.
If you eliminate the second half, we looked good but...yeah, I agree with you.
There was improvements on offense. But defensively we weren't good.
To beat teams like Alabama and UT on the road u have to put both together.
