Seems we have an AD named Mitch Barnhart that gave him such a stupid contract. Then when he starts to lose you hear nothing. He should be putting heat on him right now and if Cal can't take it let him walk. At least come before the fans and tell them you are working on it. If it were the volleyball team he would be on TV every day having a meeting on on they are going to fix it. But he is so afraid of Cal he is in his office hiding under his desk he is such a big girl

I never see Barnhart sitting on the bench during a game, and I never read any reports about Barnhart participating in UK basketball practices, or about Barnhart directing the hiring and/or firing of assistant coaches.

Barnhart bears no responsibility for the performance of the basketball team. Barnhart only bears responsibility for the fact that it may now be prohibitively expensive for the University to fire the inept head basketball coach.

I can’t blame the extension per se. But how it was given? Yuuup. Contract should have in them performance clauses. And the ones at UK should be the strictest. I mean Cal is on strike theee by now. Has to be. I mean. Not even a salary reduction for bad performance?

Cal had to be thinking “He’s agreeing to it. Oh my God he’s agreeing to it.” That’s how stupid this contract is.
