When I watch how much harder these teams play than Ky it really hurts me as a old UK fan. That is all on the coach.
Yeah, I agree with you. Cal can't be blamed for the guys not playing harder on defense.

To put this in context since Cal started the football vs basketball school.
Oats winning the SEC and SECT at Bama is like stoops winning the SEC and SEC championship game.
Eh I don’t know about all that. That was the Covid season. I mean he got a sliver of postseason success in a down year of bball.

I tried that. Grady Dick then hit 2 3s and made a reverse layup.
🤣 🤣 🤣 Dykes just called Dick, a soft guy

Probably so. But again. Like with Cal I say Show me. When Oats can win an SEC title I’ll be a little more impressed. Solid coach but collapses in the post season.
If Cal isn't winning with all the stars he has on his teams, I think it is an unfair metric for Oats. Hell, UK isn't likely to win another SEC title as long as Cal is here.

To be honest, our players don't try to play that hard on defense. I can blame Cal for a lot of things, but you have to want to play hard like Huston and Bama are playing defense.
A good coach would motivate his team to play hard. Give them a reason to want to
Just saying

Good win by the Tide. Shows the importance of free throw shooting and Houston failed to make clutch shots at the end.

The SEC is going to be extremely tough this season. UK may end up 3rd or 4th in the conference if they don’t get into any kind of rhythm on offense. Tennessee, Auburn, Missouri, Alabama and Miss State all playing well so far. Could be interesting.
Didn’t even mention maybe the best team in the SEC, Arkansas.

Honestly starting to think Uconn is the best team in the nation.

11-0 wins over Oregon, Bama, Florida, Ok St, Iowa St
No one has gotten within single digits of them.
