If you play Houston you're in for some kind of fight. They can win ugly.
It's 2 EE caliber teams(maybe better) playing. Call it whatever you want. That first half was enjoyable because both teams really got after each other.
It's 2 very good teams playing so it makes sense.Neither of these teams are Yale.
Houston remind me of the Y all star team, a bunch of dudes in their late 20s.
Alabama isn't sniffing the elite 8.
Sampson is a very good coach. His teams play so hard.
Bama is getting hosed. Huston is playing very physical ball yet most of the calls seems to be going against Bama. However, Bama is very good.
Yep. How are the going to review it. Say there was no contact. Then not hand out a technical foul.
I think you will need to bring a lot more than that. You need to bring your own refs.
Houston's D is legit but my God they foul like crazy and only get called half the time. If they were playing Duke, their starting 5 would already be fouled out.
It isn't just that his teams play hard; the refs allow his teams to play beyond what should be allowed in a game.
People said the same last year and then UK swept bama and won one game with 2 starters out. Things can change but I don't have ad high hopes this year.
Guard play overall is weaker, even when healthy.
Maybe he didn't get called for a flop because of all the missed calls that weren't flops. I guess the refs felt they owed him one.

Alabama is playing this game just as physical as Houston is. This has been a very physical game since tipoff.

Yeah they will fizzle out but right now they are way above Kentucky
We weren't nearly that physical and we got a lot of calls for that aggressive play. Coach P just had enough players that it didn't matter. Unlike our current coach, he used every capable player.
Imagine Brandon Miller or Jarace Walker in the Toppin spot
Come on now. Pitino’s teams did a lot of hacking. They were very aggressive. Pitino didn't care about the fouls so much. He was forcing tempo and his will on the othet team.
I already have and then I realized that either would be playing just like Toppin. Every year it seems to be different players blamed for the troubles of the only person that has been associated with this team for way too long.

I didnt realize we had 5 guys shooting 39% or better from 3 in 1996. Wow!! Lol. Sorry, 6 if you count Oliver Simmons going 1 for 1
Miller & Livingston would have been a nice balance at the four spot
That last two points from Alabama was a better play than has been run at UK since 2014.
The only bad thing about this game is that it's on a Saturday afternoon. This should be the 9pm game on a Tuesday or Wednesday night.
