What does an abusive coach of a completely different school from 20 years ago have to do with this team?
With that said....You can be a good human...that's great. I commend you on that. I too try everyday to be a good human. Difference is I'm a believer. So in the end we've both did our best but only one will have eternal life. What do you have to lose if you're already doing your best to be a good human. You can give your life to Jesus Christ and if there's nothing after this life (which I believe there is) you've lost nothing. You're already being a good human....but you've gained everything.

That sounds a bit selfish. As I said, sufficiant evidence does not exist to just give my life away. Really, I don't find eternal life all that appealing.

Anyone who has read the Bible know that you can read a passage that will confirm or deny just about anything. Your body is a temple. One will take that as do not do anything to your body, earrings, tats and such. Others will view it as it is OK to decorate as you would a temple.
I would say the content of the tat would be what could be seen as sin or not. Maybe the thought behind the tat. Things like that.

Not directed at anyone here but my view (not that anyone asked is this).
I 100% know that GOD exists. I 100% have faith in GOD. I do not know how people go through life without further meaning. No judgement from me. I am no judge. I have been on deaths bed in my life. I have witnessed others as well. If you do not believe in anything then why are we here. To say we came out of the swamps years ago and have evolved all the way through ape to man is the most odd thought of all to me. Evolution does indeed happen, in knowledge and personal growth as people or even animals. But we did not evolve from Chimps and such. If we did then there would be none in existence today. I do not believe some evolved to man while others decided to stay put.
By now we would have evolved again into something more. Heck with the way the worlds resources are being used we would have evolved into a smaller version of ourselves so we would not use as much resources or cause as much carbon footprint on the world. lol
Just know God is here / all around / within each and everyone one of us / we just have to listen and accept.
Love discussing these types of things. Best conversations I have ever had is with some engineers from Panasonic (Agnostic / Atheist / Catholic / Hindu / Japanese / Baptist and original Eastern Orthodox Christian from Egypt). The discussions on life and purpose opened all our eyes in why people think and decide what they believe. Because like it or not we all believe in something. Even the people that say they believe in nothing.

I love Oscar and think he is a great ambassador for this university. Hope he really does buy a horse farm (like he has said) and sticks around the area for years to come. I could see him becoming a great modivational speaker for future teams. Hope he brings home #9!!

Nah. He’s not cussing. Cultural differences in language are a funny thing. I have a friend from the Caribbean who is a believer that says things all the time he doesn’t realize may be viewed inappropriately. It cracks me up. We all need to give a little more grace to our fellow man.

I am curious, what do you believe in? How did the human body form so perfect? How is the earth itself so perfect and everything to sustain life is provided naturally? How does a woman’s body create another human inside itself? Why are they male and females in every single living thing? How does food grow from a seed and dirt? What is good? What is bad? Who defines good and bad? Whose definition of good and bad do you judge yourself from? Why do people think believing in evolution make them smarter when it’s scientifically impossible? Why do people believe in the Big Bang when it’s scientifically impossible for something perfect to come from an accident?
For an example, if I told you the car in your driveway evolved from a motorcycle, you would think I was crazy. How do you know the car even has a builder/creator? Because something can’t come from nothing.
