Give the guy a break. At least let him try to get himself fired first. The joke will last longer.

I hope he enjoys watching guys like kj wright and McKinney play in the NFL. You made the wrong choice buddy. You could have had a shot at the NFL had you actually played LB in college.

Smith, Cox, Lawrence, Chaney, White, McPhee...

It goes on and on. It's just not a very wise career move to pick OM over State, if you're a defensive player. We've proven again, and again, and again, and again, to be able to put guys in the league (and get them ridiculous money).

If I had no connection, whatsoever, and were looking at the two (as a defensive player), there's no question in my mind where I'd go to be prepped for the NFL. None.

It can be argued that Robert Nkemdiche would have been drafted higher had he gone somewhere other than Ole Miss.

Those six or seven different DC's really know how to put folks in the league.******

Yeah

we've had different DC's but you cannot argue that, as a whole, it's Dan's system.

The fact that we've had multiple DC's solidifies that. Isn't Dan involved with recruiting these kids?

"The buck stops here."

I'll say again, and there is NO disputing it, Under Dan's (entire) system, MSU has put more guys into the league than OM's. I'm sorry, but that is a fact.

Come on shotgun, let us not

let facts get in the way of making a smartass comment, that does nothing to disprove my point.****

I might be a little more concerned keeping the same one for years who appears to be putting guys in juco rather than NFL. That **** is backwards.

I don't know how anyone can argue otherwise, honestly.

I wonder whether part of it is that Werner likes to rely on speed so much that he puts people out of position and their body breaks down.

But I do think a lot of it is just a reflection of their recruiting practices. There are going to be some freak athletes that are going to make it while not pushing themselves (Nkemdichee), but for everyone else, it's a lot to expect an 18-20 year old kid to push themselves to the extent required to be successful at the NFL level while also being treated like a king during recruiting and having leverage over your coaches. I'm not sure CJ Johnson's career wasn't derailed before he even got on campus. If he shows up in shape, do they move him to DE? If he's in a different program, is he getting fat while tweeting about sex acts?
