Granted it’s been 20 years, but I can’t imagine Mad Mushroom cheesesticks or pizza being anything but garbage.

I’ve made my feelings on foodies well known around here for a score BUT I feel perfectly righteous in saying the pie produced by most chains - including Pizza Hut, Dominos, Marcos, Snappy - is ****.

I won’t put Papa Johns in that class but it’s not much higher.

Jersey Mike’s is light years ahead of Jimmy John’s, but both have been reliable in my experience.

Had to drive right past Four Roses and Buffalo Trace yesterday morning. Popped into each gift store real quick. Picked up a Barrel Strength OESK at Four Roses. High hopes for that one. Buffalo Trace was putting out Eagle Rare, but the line was bonkers and I can pick that up at Kroger somewhat consistently, so I passed. I haven’t really been bourbon hunting this year, but the few times I’ve been looking I’ve gotten lucky. Just when I think I’m out, they pull me back in.

This is the first basketball season that feels right again since pre-pandemic. Haven’t been this excited since Fox-Monk-Bam.

5 y/o has been begging to catch a game at Rupp. I’m doing something right I guess.

Bread makes the sandwich and Jimmy John's bread is just a step above Subway. That's not good. Since we have no deli's around, who have their bread delivered every morning, Jersey Mikes is tops.

Used Cars, with Kurt Russell and Jack Warden, is a forgotten comedy classic.

Dontaie Allen looked out of place from day 1. You can give him the benefit of the doubt recovering from injury but it was apparent was not strong or quick enough. Wish the kid well, but I thought he needed to drop a couple of levels down from UK, like NKU, to play and shine.

Fifa Uncovered doc on NF was decent. FIFA was just a much larger version of the UL program minus the whores. Still can't believe the WC is in Qatar right now when it should be in the US. Pretty funny those people got away with a hell of a lot of fraud for a very long time but once they f'd over the US, chickens came home to roost.

Side note: the WC commercials have been fantastic. Don't say that often but get excited after each one.

Bullitt has Bermuda grass so it has been a dust field for a few weeks now. Trying to convert to turf as it was approved by the state.

Hoping the home field helps our boys. A few weeks back Male was the biggest regular season win they ever had, this would be the best win ever……..lower level state championships don’t count in my book.

The starting QB has set all time Bullitt East records that were previously held by his dad. The dad is one of the assistant coaches in our little league program and dude is cool as a fan but is not letting go of his achievements so easy!
