Ava Jones is such a heartstrings type case. I wish it wouldn't of happened but you can't go back. That she has continued to run into medical roadblocks and setbacks is awful. She hasn't complained, she has continued to work and tried to get back to the game she loved she just wasn't ever cleared to play. She has done everything right and gotten the short straw. Even still she doesn't have to allow it to define her. Whether sports or life, ultimately its your decision to wake up and what you are going to make of it. You can either let life knock you down, or make the best of the life you have been given even if its a ****** draw.
She was knocked down and run over.
If Karma is a real thing, she should have a lifetime of good coming her way....God, I hope she comes through all this!

I was sitting in Palm Springs airport Thursday and started talking to a Kansas Jayhawk fan. He brought up Ava and said his son had coached her in lower level sports. He said she was the best at everything. Said there wasn't a boy that could throw a ball like her. What we will never know what might have been.
