- Greater Cincinnati showed out last night. Beautiful evening in the Queen City. Had some pregame drinks outside at Covington Yard. Walked across the Roebling. Record home crowd. Didn’t even see any crowd violence although I’m sure people got beat up by some Lower Price Hill tuffs in the South Endzone as is tradition.

- Seeing nearly everyone thinks we cover tomorrow but no one predicting a dub. I don’t get it. Tough game but Ole Miss has played a bunch of tin cans so far.

-*drilled* in the eye with a tennis ball last night. We were up 3-1 at the time in the deciding set at the time..got down 4-3 as I was a one-eyed ************ until my left eye "got partiallly unblurry" and we took it 7-5 to take the match.

^this is my regular group of good friends...I was talking a lot of **** during/after the win. Good times.

^Sadly I only have a tiny shiner... i like a good story.

I was concerned about timing with CRod, but if he has been practicing I’d think it should be fine against a 5 man front and 6 DBs.

Which, lmao, how can any SEC team survive with that? I guess Kiffin just wants his best players out there. I respect his offensive coaching enough to know this won’t be easy, but they have to stop us too.

A lot of chit chatter this week about Levis as number 1 overall pick. While I do love Levis and this WR core plus our TEs, I honestly think we win this game handing it off and running over such an undersized defense.

Friday Rondominiums:

  • she avoided for 2.5 years, but wife has the Covid. She’s fine but tired. So, maybe she’s had Covid variant for 15 years.
  • Tedeschi Trucks tonight at Beacon. (Sister and niece)We have a seat. Good enough for me. Still pissed at Bonobo debacle.
  • My BlueBottle Hayes Valley espresso shot was on-friggin-point. Best beans!
  • Tua looked electrocuted. Poor dude.
  • Orange lot for SC game.
  • Having a premiere quarterback gives you a chance in EVERY game. Levis is elite.
  • Eff real tree, eff Lane, eff Eli… burn the ships

Likely won’t be able to watch or even listen to the game tomorrow.

Go Cats
Did you call into KSR mad about it yesterday? That guy had no perspective at all lol.
So rogue also doesn't know white tigers exist. Good to know
Oh I know about them but they're the Bengals not the White Tigers. You cool if the Wildcats come out with Tigers and Lions all over their jerseys next game? I mean, same family...

I'm an Ohio hater, I won't like anything any of their teams do, I'd advise you to do the same.

* Another weekend of soccer and volleyball watching on tap for ol' Wildcat Willy. Basketball tryouts for both girls, too. At least the scheduling Gods were nice enough to give me a window to watch the Cats live again this week.

* Extremely nervous about tomorrow's game. Hopefully his return gives the the running game a much needed shot in the arm, but I think CRod catching the ball out of the backfield is going to be huge.

Avoid costly turnovers and too many negative plays and the preppies will be crying in The Grove.

That frosh RB Ole Miss has scares me a bit. He good.

* That Tua **** was scary. The last time I saw somebody sieze up like that is when I forced Anth to do a Jagerbomb.

* Friday 5:

I'll Wait - Van Halen
Freeze-Frame - The J. Geils Band
Wild Side - Motley Crue
Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin
I like It - Foxy Shazam

* Just had some left over low carb Butter Chicken for lunch. Didn't have any more cauliflower rice, so I ate the extra sass like a soup. Indian food is good.

* 10 YO's volleyball team is undefeated, but they play another undefeated team from a different league tomorrow night and yet another one in a tournament championship game Monday. They will definitely be tested when the postseason tourney rolls around.

I am shocked at the skill level 5th graders have in volleyball. Most of the girls on her team play club and it shows. The popularity of volleyball is killing girls basketball up here. The Greater Cincy Catholic Youth League had to combine 5th/6th and 7th/8th grades in hoops this year due to insufficient numbers at a lot of schools.

* Hopefully, I'll get to actually come down and see that tailgating banner in person soon. I miss some of you jerks.

* Alright, folks. Drink like a champion. We need this one tomorrow. Let's do it!

Leading up to a big game, I tend to soak up as much football content as it takes for me to get cautiously optimistic, then tune out until kickoff. The better the Cats are, the less it takes. I've been tuned out all week. Same happened for Florida.

Also, if the haters sound like ********, I feel good. I'd be more nervous if the folks picking against us sounded reasonable and weren't doing a Skip Bayless impression (see Roman Harper, Chris Marler).

Another sign of UK's football ascension is that most of these takes I see are about Kentucky. I haven't heard anyone pick based on their opinion of Ole Miss. They either believe in UK or they don't, and that's what drives their prediction.
