Yeah I see what Kentucky/Nike was doing here. Wanted something unique to our brand rather than just another basic blue/white uni. Think it will at least be unique. Overall, it's a A- for me. Best uniforms since the 2013-14 Classic unis.

Now that I have thought about it a bit, I see where they are coming from. It makes me feel old, but I realize “fashion” has passed me by. When sh*t like this is considered fashion or “drip” as they say:


I realize I need to stop caring. Because what looks like to me as guys trying to “out-stupid” one another, is “fashion” to the younger generations. So if Nike is trying to out-stupid other teams with our uniforms, then we are right up there with the best of them. Just makes me sad because as others have said, the traditional powerhouses in sports (Yankees, Bama football, Celtics, etc.) don’t have to resort to gimmicks. If I had to put blame on anyone, it would be Rick Pitino and all the crazy crap he did with Converse back in the 90s.

Now, I’ll stop publicly b*tching about it because if the kids these days like it, that’s all that matters. Please excuse me while I go yell at some kids to get off my lawn.

Oh, and I’m only 34. :rolleyes:

Clean, classic jerseys with an arched KENTUCKY were sorely missed. Waiting for them to be available for purchase
