If Rudd can afford it than good on him. My suspicion is many that frequent that store probably get home and pay the minimum payment on their CC.

I once left a Tag watch on a hotel dresser after rushing out to make a flight. It was never found according to the hotel. I am content with my Garmin now.

Being realistic- I can see this being an 8 win team as much as I can a 10 win team. Away at UF, Ole Miss, UT... having UGA at the end of the season when they will likely be dialed in and in a national championship hunt, avoiding any other slipups at home... I mean this isnt a murderers row schedule but its still a grind week in and week out- and with apparently suspensions lasting a couple weeks, questions at key positions...

Cena, Cena, Cena!

-Not a brag at all but I definitely look better than that with less steroids, don't shave my chest and have had no facial surgeries.

****, if we're going really for ugly lookalikes I'd rather be geared up Danny Bonaduce than Carrottop.

-Super irritable at work today, I'm thinking it's because dealing with 300 athletes that seem to have less a grasp on using computers than I do in spite of never knowing life without them while my 40 year old *** that legitimately hasn't used a computer for anything but taxes and to watch streaming stuff online while traveling in 10 years can figure it in about two seconds but requires an office visit for them... :gun:

Well, that and they're texting up until 10:30p with stupid questions and then show up at the locked gym I'm lifting at about 6am because they "have to be taped" for their golf tourney today. Listen, if you can't get through a round of golf at 19 without needing to be KT taped, QUIT.

Flippin kids man.

-Tried some Atomic Rhino Smelling Salts for the first time last week, what a ride that stuff is! I mean, could flat knock you down. Brought it in for the team as well pregame to give the boys a whiff and get those juices flowing. Even the coaches were taking those ammonia hitters, fun stuff.

_Dying to get back to reading but legit have no time, pretty bummed about that one.

Less steroids?
Keep up Bernie I'm on doc-prescribed TRT, T is an anabolic steroid, you're on steroids too.

- @80 Proof if I had my own farm and could move to it now and still work, done deal. My brothers have one with 122 acres in Allen county but not a whole lot top do there besides smoke weed and drink beer and nothing within driving range worth my time either. They offered to give me a couple to build on if I wanted, we'll see but that's a few years away.

Started looking to buy a house in Columbia because overpaying for this ****** rental really is getting under my skin. But like anywhere else the housing market is fugazi. One property wants 0ver 200% more than it was worth this month last year and there aren't a lot of people to dump it off to whenever I leave either.

-Prob mentioned it before but I can't do jewelry of any kind. Just don't like extra stuff on me. I'm hereby pulling my name out of the watch market/convo.

-Fanny packs are a dope way to carry the stuff you don't have room for, especially pool/boat/beach/lake/gym days when you don't want your pockets stuffed with junk. But $100+ is hilarious, bunch of maroons out there, I tell you.

And yes cargo shorts guy, they look way better than those shorts you still wear that held your glass piece and weed at that 2004 Dave Matthews show.

I just wear a Casio G-Shock until it runs out of batteries and buy a new one... because I'm a married man who doesn't care about impressing other men with how much money I can put on my wrist.

* Pretty funny that the Dingle brothers are 1a and 1b on the depth chart for TE/FB. I can only imagine the competition of two brothers for the same spot.

Kind of concerning to see Cummings behind both those guys. We need him to be a big contributor.

* If you wear a fanny pack (or brag about looking better than Carrot Top), you are an absolute cheesedick.

Yeah, because this is why people buy nice watches....to impress others. Same with cars, shoes, shirts, TV dinners, etc.....

PSA....people like nice things.

Never had a nice watch. Doubt I spend more than a few hundred but been wanting one for awhile. Figured GYERO had some watch guys in here.

Have to put my bourbon $$$ somewhere since I can no longer find anything. I haven’t even seen Rare Breed in months.

Rack’em

No way I’m paying more than $50 for a dope Fanny pack.

Mods, please ban this clown 🙏
Says the guy with shorts past his knees, loses a flip flop over the balcony at a tourney game and raps in public… 🤡

How about we start with banning anyone that’s not the average height of an American women first?

-this is a bad take...while there are some dudes that like to floss a Rolex so people will think they have money, there are nerds who are into watches and like "nice things".

^I fall into the latter category. 99% of the general public doesn't recognize the watches I own/wear...they've never heard of them. Only other watch nerds. I wear them because *I* like them...I truly don't give a **** what others think about me.

^I mean I want them to think I'm a decent/kind/helpful person...other than that I don't care.

-I don't give a **** about tech: i use an older model Samsung phone. My TV is 10 years old...nothing against folks that spend their cash on that stuff. They value it...and that's ok.

-i use a weber kettle, that's fine for me. Other folks have green eggs/traegers etc. I'm not dropping 800 bones on a grill...nothing wrong with those that do.

-I get great espresso out of my $20 bilatti (sp?) pot...some folks have $1000 espresso machines. More power to them.

-point being: life is hard, nothing wrong with nerding out/spending one's cash on stuff that gives you a little joy...whatever that may be.

[eyeroll]

Always was into Rolex after seeing my Dad quietly wear them…gave me one of his when I turned 18 (too early frankly) and I took possession of his other when he passed. In turn I bought one when each of my sons and and daughter were born….will give them all their specific one when they graduate college then one when I croak, will give away or do something cool with the others I have picked up hopefully.

In the microwave culture lols Mitch always thought it to be neat to pass something on that if taken care of will outlast my life and beyond.

Shoot, my daily is an older black dial Sub Date that literally no one notices and is less conspicuous than an Apple Watch #watchnerd

Observation from the insurance business -- like 99% of the dorks in my industry own a Rolex. The guys who are legit ballers *have* to wear one to show their success (🙄), and the rest are complete pretenders who are part of the fake it till they make it crowd. It never ceased to amaze me when I was a rep going all over the state how often I would meet some low producing nerd flashing a Rolie like he's a big shot.

Against the wishes of Bernie Sanders, I'm part of the 1%. Proudly.

Garmin Fenix 5 for this guy. Probably upgrade to a Coros at some point.

Bus stories:

Police had to be called. Kid on the bus, "Blueberry" is his nickname. Blueberry and another kid (that is a car rider) got into an altercation that day.

Kid tells his Uncle (the person that picks him up a school) that Blueberry was running his mouth.

What the Uncle SHOULD have done - "Who cares? Gotta let stuff roll off your back."

What Uncle DID do - Followed the school bus, and at first, is trying to get me to pull over, honking horn, waving angrily. Then, when I was uncooperative (and yes, I probably could have done more to calm the situation down), Uncle just decided to follow the bus, and wait for Blueberry to get off the bus in order to, I guess, jump him.

Made Blueberry stay on the bus at his stop, and called the Police. I didn't stick around to see if the Uncle went to jail. Had to make a statement though, the next day.

(Blueberry is a f***ing ******* and I have zero doubt that he deserved an *** beating. But because I likely saved him from one, is now extremely cooperative on the bus.)

Same. I travel & “fun” way above my means, but live well below it In most other aspects for balance.

My next “trip/experience” keeps me motivated & sane in this life.

Without something cool or fun on the horizon I’m basically lost, so I basically never let that happen.

I have general spend regret all the time…but literally NEVER for fun experiences/memories.

My brother got me and my wife engraved Tag Huers as a wedding gift. It was really nice, and probably cost thousands. I would wear it to a fancy dinner about once every three months but lost it after a year. No clue where as I only looked for about once every three months, but I never told my brother and he would probably be very annoyed.

Bought my wife a nice Fanny pack like 6 months ago for her bday, apparently they’re a thing again I guess? For females, obviously.

On Thursday we will drive up with friends to Pittsburgh for the WVU vs Pitt game. Will be an old fashioned shitshow then fly to Martha’s Vineyard for Labor Day Friday morning. Cannot imagine two more different experiences in 48 hours.

What’s the best card you ever bought as far as later profit?
Bought a Kobe autograph inscribed “Mamba Out”for $400 before he died. Sold it for $48,000. As far as percentage goes that has to be up there. Paid $80 for a Kobe the day before he died and sold it for $10,000. Paid $13,000 for a Kobe rookie two years ago and sold it last year for $113,000 last year. Didn’t really want to sell it but you do what you gotta do when prices are high. Just bought one back this week for $26,000. Paid 50k for a Mahomes rookie and sold it for 175k.

Also paid $750 for a Tim Couch rookie I sold for $20.
