I don’t want to jinx us but Zags with a struggle with our athleticism. We all saw what Baylor did to them in that title game. And that Baylor team strived on athleticism.

I feel Oscar will not get 15 rebounds on average this year. It seems many other teammates are good rebounders and will share his number.

Impressive last night, hope it's an omen of things to come. I also hope that Cal realizes how deep this team is and continues to use 8+ guys every night. It appears to me that we've got the depth to keep wearing opponents down much like Pitino's best team(s) did. Hard to take much more from an exhibition with an unknown opponent other than we shot well, played pretty good team D, were very athletic with multiple guys leading the break and/or making the good pass and were able to keep the pressure on the entire 40 minutes. If it turns out that the opponent last night is woeful, then we didn't learn a lot from that. We'll see as the season progresses how the team develops and learns to play together. Will be interesting to see Cal's substitution patterns during the season. It looked to me like several players could conceivably play significant minutes at more than 1 position.

I can already tell that coach Calipari is planning his strategy, it might be reminiscent of what we have seen but I like how these guys are already playing. Their talent and athleticism will be tested, especially sec games and those highly anticipated reg, season matchups with other good teams.
