Taint Contours girl was cute but Steiner outclasses her.

Not related to her titty jewelry, but Steiner's finishing speed on the track is ridiculous. That kind of athleticism and training is totally foreign to me and wildly impressive, and cool as hell that UK track is both a) kicking *** and b) one of the "cool" names.

Sporting event I've never witnessed but would like to : Olympic Ice Hockey

Sporting event that pleasantly surprised me most: Japanese baseball

2 -- the number of touchdowns I've actually scored in "organized football" - career # there

44 - my favorite jersey # for any sport

WRESTLING - the sport im always surprised to remember has devotees

Curling - the only "sport" whos entire existence, appearance, culture BAFFLE, ANNOY, & IGNITE SUSPICION INSIDE OF ME

edit : it doesn't REALLY sicken me - so took that out ....and I've never actually met a curling "apologist" so....removed that

The curling take is pretty extreme. Seem to just kinda do their curling thing, and that’s it. I know it’s GYERO, but that’s a really bizarre take, even for Wyvern. Show me where they hurt you, Wyvern.

I liked the late night inquiry & made some changes

I do somehow picture curling "players" ....is that even what they're called?

Or is it "Curlers"?

I picture them all to have either Wisconsin Polite Luthern Prarie-Home / Garrison Keeler -- OR native Scandinavian. ----->> vibes

Thats a compliment i think

If anyone needs more evidence of the South rising again- the Birmingham Stallions will be playing for the USFL title this weekend, and the city will be hosting the WORLD GAMES. From my research this event looks to be one tier above the Olympics. If you want to see the best on the planet play Korfball, tug-of-war, and ultimate frisbee- you'll have to visit the Magic City (Home of Michael Jordan for a few months).

Also add in another James Beard Award for Birmingham when my boy Adam Evans was recognized earlier this month.

Outside of the murder rate and the oppressive heat- things are prospering well here.

- Just assumed everyone was taking the day off for Chad's birthday.

- My dad's house sold 30 hours after being listed, at $15k over the list price. That's the good news. The bad news is that it's now a dead-on sprint to get everything cleaned out or sold in the next four weeks. This whole process has really caused me to re-evaluate the stuff I've kept over the years. I'm a "sentimental pack-rat". If anything has any sentimental meaning at all, I tend to keep it. But man, I don't want my kids to have to go through this someday. So I'm going to make a point of periodically discarding stuff that was meant to be enjoyed for a season.

- Is Ukraine still a thing?

- Glad that the Wagner recruitment seems to be nearing its end. If he's UL-bound, which is what some insiders are saying is a done deal, I'd rather he go ahead and commit now rather than stringing the whole thing along. I assume that if UL is the choice, it's either a push to get Ian Jackson to reclass to '23 to play alongside Dillingham, or it's the portal, because the remaining crop of guards in that class is pretty meager.

- Like a lot of our parents (I'm guessing), my dad has a lot of old pics that were converted to slides instead of prints. I still don't understand the thinking behind it. Why get your photos put into a format that requires you to lug out a piece of machinery just to view them? As a kid, I remember us MAYBE pulling out that slide projector once a year. Were prints THAT expensive to get?

- Welcome to the worst seven days of the year, dog owners.

Anyone seen ULs 2026 schedule? They play 9 ACC games, including ND, plus UK and UGA. It’s gotta be the toughest schedule they have ever played.

It will be weird to see lil bro play 11 power 5 teams.

-I'm in an 8 hour CEU class covering Identity Theft, Time Management, and dealing with difficult people. My soul is slowly being sucked out of my ears.

-We asked the 6 yo to restock waters in the fridge. Opened this morning to grab on the way to the gym... none were standing up. Somehow he got 24 bottles crammed in sideways on top of each other. Pretty impressive, honestly .

-This time of year is always slow as ****.

-Grabbed a pop a shot (double rim) for the family and guests. Pumped about that sucker.

-The ring side video from the Mariners vs Rangers brawl is fantastic.

-It's really hard for me to not drink every night this time of year. Fall and Spring I don't have that desire but the depths of Winter Hell and Mid Summer just have something about them. Cold beer, crispy wine... heavenly.

-Starts this weekend. Here's your preview.

Serious question, Llama - where do you get your news because I still hear about the war in Ukraine quite bit.

Chris Rodriguez reminds me of Coach Claiborne RB - George Adams

Spanking of IK RBs - was watching old NFL highlights fm the 80s yesterday and saw Ivy Joe Hunter running for the Colts and Derek Ramsay catching a TD for the Raiders

Dermonti Dawson often overlooked Cats superstar fm the 90s. Many time all pro center for the Steelers

Man TV is so crap I am rooting for NBA Free Agency to be under way.

Knicks trade Noel and Alec Burks to Detroit.

John Wall out in Houston and signing with the Clippers.

Khalil Whitney is added to the Twolves summer team.

Is there anything else worth a night cap watch?!?

too early in the slate for pre-season curling -

never too early to check up on curler recruiting though -

I hear Sayre is fielding a curling squad in 2023 though

Life is good !

Ashford is gorgeous, maybe my favorite. You will enjoy. Both horses leave for Australia within about a week, so you timed it correct.
Strokin's choice spurred me and the lass to visit today with the afternoon off. They're quarantining Tiz the Law and Lookin for Lucky for Chile, but they said they're considering not sending any horses to Australia and giving them all a break.

You can tell Pharoah loves the attention. Justify is still ripped and a massive horse. Maximum Security was a great show, too.

This late transfer from UT is 6'5". Would love to see him used as another option for pass catches. They have him listed as a RB, but his size gives him matchup advantages in the passing game. Nothing wrong with having depth and options.

Dee Beckwith is the UT transfer. Hueppel played him at RB last year and it was stupid, probably part of the reason he's transferring. He'll be an H-back type here.

The other guy is highly intriguing and is a RB a the way. It certainly gives rise to questions about Crod, but they are different type runners. Could be quite a combo if he plays this year.
