I am not real vocal about it, but I am a serious doubter. He can still win me over but he has to be better than the last 2 seasons.

This about where I am. I hear what he’s saying but, put up or shut up. Coming. out and winning the first couple of games handily would be a good start. Dropping 15 on State would be awesome way to start the year. No more damn rock fights for awhile.

Cal is a husk. The drive is gone. The fire burned out. It happens. I understand. He no longer posseses what it takes to break down those doors. Just recognize.

I very much think this is the year. He’s going to have four upperclassmen starting. I mean that hasn’t happened in forever. If he can’t do it this year? I agree. He’s done.

He’s talking about wanting Madness to be big again. He’s mentioned how he wants to get back to gold standard.

So talking about the program and wanting to win.

But again, he gotta come back it up.
I agree, its put up or shut up time for Calipari.
As for Madness, not sure what else can be done in Rupp for it.Guess he wants to move it to Kroger field.
As for the gold standard, whose fault is it that we have declined from that pedestal?

I see a lot of “put up or shut up” “all talk” “actions speak louder than words”.

Turns out the appearance hasn’t happened yet?

That’s why I don’t want him to make a public appearance, I don’t care what he has to say myself. I just find it disingenuous (not to mention extremely hypocritical) that some of those with the above thoughts are the same ones that wanted him to publicly address the Sharpe situation.

I thought words don’t matter. Take a stance for once instead of flipping and flopping around like a large mouth bass. Whenever the situations convenient the opinion changes, some of you should be in politics and probably are

This team is loaded; mature, deep, NPOTY, uber talented, with defensive stoppers and rim protectors as well as makers.

The FF drought and Title drought both end in 2023.

He should answer for his role in the Sharpe fiasco but he wont.He will get softball questions in interviews and ramble on about **** that means nothing and that's if anyone can even understand what's hes attempting to say.

Not sure what you listened to or maybe you are referring to another interview (besides Finebaum)...

Regarding Cal trying to tell fans they aren't acting right is nonsense and total fabrication of what he said. He was talking about midnight madness and trying to get some juice behind it again. He is right, it has been dead for years.

He also didn't blame facilities for lack of success. I don't have an opinion on them- seem nice to me and have visited multiple times but he probably knows what other places look like.

Do you just listen to stuff and interpret whatever the hell you feel like?

Carry on....
He came out and told the fans not to be mad at Sharpe. It's a passive/aggressive way of scolding the fans and condescending to us by saying we're stupid.

So you do think he should say something even though it’s “put up or shut up” time?

I agree it’s that time myself, but I take it literally. There’s no reason for him to talk. It’s time to have a great season everything else does not matter as far as his words or anyone else’s.

I don’t see how people can say it’s all talk then at the same time want him to talk

The put up or shut up comment refers to what he does coach wise with this seasons team.No more excuses as he uses.He sets the roster.
Yes,he should answer for his role on the Sharpe charade and be asked if he will let it happen again.

We have 10 players.Injuries would kill us.I love Oscar but that NPOY for last season may not materialize this season.Bigger target for teams to prepare for.
Alot of unknowns roster wise.Wallace may be legit,we shall see.
Your pinning Toppin and Collins to explode but again,we dont know if they take that next step.
Preseason rankings dont mean anything.Im hopeful we stay injury free and the chemistry is solid. We will get an early look in August and the trip may really help us get going but As of right now,we have alot of unknowns.

much as I love our guys, to call any of them Uber talented beyond Oscar is just looking at them through blue tinted glasses. I have to with hold true judgement with the 2 frosh because we haven't seen them play in the college enviroment

My question is who created the shitshow WWE event that midnight madness is? He did and most agree it is unwatchable.
There are two huge problems with Madness.
1. The women’s team takes up the first of the two hours and drains the energy out of the crowd.
2. Unlike the earlier days, fans have seen so many hours of games and highlights of incoming players. Madness and the Blue/White game used to be special as it was a true introduction to the newcomers.

When did he start saying the right stuff?

In the past 2 days he’s defended Shaedon Sharpe, blamed the facilities for lack of success, and tried to tell fans they’re not acting right, again.

At this point the only smart thing he could do is just stop talking.
When did he blame the facilities for lack of success? I do remember him mentioning wanting some things upgraded but likely missed what you’re talking about because I’ve been MIA for a bit.

Wheeler is NOT uber talent. He's okay but he can't shoot.
Collins is #10 on the roster.
Toppin is okay but he didn't start last season.
Frederick is made of glass.

Give me a break. You're ALWAYS wrong.
