It's 95k. That's pocket change for Calipari. Should have been taken care of.
95k is about 1 percent of Calipari’s annual salary. Judging by the intelligence of your posts, 1 percent of your annual salary or SSDI checks is probably around $200. Have you donated $200? If not, STFU about what other people should do with their money.

And yes, I made a donation.

Look at the join date and post count. Its an alt account of one of our cowardly Cal haters. They use them to bait KY supporters and post outlandish crap to evade mods.
I mean I’m not a Cal fan myself these days, but I just can’t understand that mentality at all.

I’m not the one exploiting a man with cancer just to sling **** at a coach. You tell me, does it suck to be you?
My first post on the subject.

1) America health care sucks on pricing. Fact
2) Kylie Jenner got called out for tweeting go fund mes before just like this. Fact
3) cal could cover 95k without thinking. Fact.

tell me the exploitation or do you just like to hope you can stir controversy out of facts?

I’m ready for Cal to go as much as the next man, but come on. He can’t just take care of every 100K issue out there that he’s associated with in some facet.

1. Not relevant take your whiny sniveling politics elsewhere.
2. Not relevant take your chip on your shoulder and go cry alone.
3. So what? He’s paid his share. Many others have. Your contribution was to sling ****.

I can’t help any one that was solely responsible for bringing John Calipari here. No way.
You, sir or ma'am...SUCK.
I am firmly in the camp that thinks Calipari needs to move on but, that position in no way influences my level of empathy and compassion for another human being who is suffering.
I really hope Snow Leopard is just a UofL or IU fan who is here simply to troll and make UK fans look bad.

This thread is why some of our fans are the biggest losers and pieces of dogcrap on the planet.

It is not the wealthys responsibility to pay for every acquaintances health bills. Calipari is matching 50k and that is beyond generous of him. That alone makes him a better person than all the losers on here bashing him because he doesn't pay for everyone's health bills he has ever known.

As someone else pointed out, there are tons of things more important in life than a silly game. This is one of them.

So any of your friends that are wealthier than you should pay your bills for you? And you should pay for the ones you're wealthier than?

This is sounding a lot like socialism...

So helping out a friend is socialism? Cal doesn't need to pay it all. I'm sure he could call a few people and get enough donations in minutes.
If compelled to do so simply because you have a higher income, then yes!

Again, why is this Cal's responsibility to call and generate donations for someone else?

Question: how many times have you covered the medical costs of someone poorer than you or how many times have you called your friends to solicit donations for another friends medical costs?

No, you were just using Pratt’s misfortune to dump on KY and Cal. Just own it and stop deflecting
Lot of truth in this. “Taking it too far” would be appropriate for Rupp Runts. I think RR’s knows it. Doubtful he would step up and apologize. Probably typed before he heard of CC generous donation to get his veiled shot in.

Mike Pratt was one of my dad’s favorite players here. My dad had a very rare form of cancer that Vanderbilt Hospital only saw about 3 cases a year of. I think only 12 cases a year in the whole US is the average. There were no known treatments for it. They for the most part had to experiment with it. My dad did well for 5 years but his kidneys were too damaged from the treatments. Pratt seems to be in good shape for his age (like my dad) so that is a big plus. Cancer is cruel no matter the type. Praying for him.

It's a shame someone has to ask for $95,000 to get life saving care.
What’s really a shame is most places won’t even work with you. Which is ridiculous.

I realize that the world reupquire money and you shouldn’t give away skill for free per se. But medical knowledge to me is a hair different. If you don’t provide treatment because some one can’t pay I will call your sincerity of practice into question.

Every time you go to the hospital you subsidize for the less fortunate.

Praying for Mike, and I feel for him. I am thinking on top of everything else, there is a chance he might have a small bit of embarrassment asking for financial help. I mean that was the whole plot of Breaking Bad, and Mike is a legend at UK, nobody’s charity case. I think that is what makes some of the posters who say Cal should cover it uncomfortable (or at least me). It seems like for this amount of money (1% of Cal’s salary), Cal could either cover the bill or loop in a couple wealthy donors to cover it together, and not put Mike’s business out there for the public. I am not telling Cal how to spend his money. I just feel shame that a UK legend has to do this.

Thought the same thing. I’m not a Democrat and want to just spend peoples money but you would think that this is a “burden” Cal could make write(see what I did there?) with the swipe of a pen.
