Might have a shot at a FF with him , Cal is a mill stone
We’d win the ship if he came back he’s that good, that’s why a lot of us are pissed he never saw the court at UK. He’s a top 5 talent, something we haven’t had in years, that cal just wasted and dangled in front of the fan bases face. He’s a needle mover on any team.

I have also had this thought, and it would be a development that would really get me psyched for next year. But it was a fleeting thought.

it’s been replaced by two new thoughts. A best case and worst case kind of scenario.

1. Players are going to withdraw from the draft and we’ll get one or two.

2. Cal is approaching this like it’s his last rodeo. He’s done, he’s been done, and NIL has taken the same toll on him that it has with Roy, K, and Wright.

What hit me is that Cal didn't add anybody because it would create tension among the guys he does have here. God forbid a kid actually has to COMPETE for a starting job at UK. Remember before last year how many were crowing that Cal was changing speed and was going to start hitting the transfer portal for the best players available every year. That lasted a long time didn't it.

according to some people the draft order may play a role in his decision and that happens tonight I think. So with that said I anticipate we know about sharpe 100% very soon. I think he stays in the draft but we’ll see for sure this week I believe

Wasn’t a piano out of the sky I know some are disappointed.

What if we’re not adding anymore because…

Sharpe is returning?
That would make to much sense a lot of what Kentucky has done this offseason doesn’t make any sense

ESPN just showed him as the projected 4th pick going to Sacramento during the draft lottery....He gone

If I saw that the Kings were about to take me, effectively ruining my career.. I might actually reconsider coming back to UK.

Also, the Kings would this stupid to take Sharpe at 4, leaving one of Chet/Jabari/Ivey/Banchero on the board.

Sharpe going 6th to Indiana based on giovanny latest. Could push sharpe to UK because he would be top 3 next year. Big difference in money. Cbs had him going to the kings 4th. I doubt he would be excited about a place where careers generally go to die.

I can't see how Sharpe would turn down anything in the lottery. It's clear what he and his camp wanted from the start, and it was the fast track, and easy path to the NBA.

Honestly, I think he'd stay in the draft if someone said "Well, we'd take you at 60, that work?". Not to mention, he has to know the fanbase is rightfully livid with him.

0.0% chance he comes back. Not even an NBA lockout would cause him to return.

This is completely false.

Something that hasn't happened can't be false lol.

I don't believe in any universe he comes back.

Like.. he's looking at nearly an automatic $10,000,000 pay day. He's not turning that down..
Yeah it is. He isn’t looking for the lottery. Hes looking for top 5 money. The difference even between 6 and 3 is huge and nba guys, recruiting guys, the family have all said just being a lottery pick isn’t enough so yea false

I've yet to read that Sharpe is looking for top5 money. Got a link? This would be one of the only times I can think of, that a player returns to college actually tries college ball, instead of taking a high lottery pick.

And even still.. if one mock has him at 4 and the other is at 6.. the family is going to see that as pretty much "top 5 money". I highly doubt his family is going to pull him out because he might drop to 7th and make $600,000 less.

The writing is on the wall man.

Cal didn't waste him or dangle him in front of the fan bases face. Everything that happened after he got to UK was decided by his "camp". Why is that so hard to understand? Oh yeah. It doesn't fit the agenda. I get some of you hate Cal but to think he didn't want Sharpe to play and help us win more games is just ignorant.

Hard for me to see Sharpe coming back with the Kings having a high pick being the reason . There is a good chance they will be up there again next season .

Cal did dangle him in front of the fanbase, but that's before he allowed a handler to control him.

Either way you want to shake it out, this is on Cal. He runs the program and once a kid signs to play at UK, nobody outside the program should have any control over that UK player.
