Hugh Freeze is either:

1. The greatest Showman / Con-man in the SEC.
2. A genuine Christian who will break NCAA rules to "help" kids & their families (but Spice is a monkey wrench in this theory---get Robert Nkemdiche rehab when the "bong hit" photo hit the Web, don't JUST suspend him and let it go at that).
3. A complete figure head who is a genuine Christian but he allows boosters and The Network to recruit & bring in kids to play football (but this theory breaks down because Freeze claims to have close "family" relationships with his players---I watched their "RebelVision" video of Freeze's hiring and him meeting with the Ole Miss players, I was amazed by his knowledge of the guys, their High School coaches, siblings, extended family, friends, etc. So he seems VERY involved).

He is worshipped by the bear fan base and overall I think he is trying to do

Positive things. Like us all he is human and has made mistakes and will continue to make mistakes.
if by some miracle the NCCA brings him down there will be much gnashing of teeth, no pun intended.

In OM's first 7 games this year, they have fsu, Georgia, Alabama, at lsu, and at Arkansas. If freeze gets om thru those games with a winning record, om fans will continue to praise freeze and rightfully so. If freeze has a losing record (very possible), there will be some some om fans losing their Christian ways

Here's the kicker. According to a family member, he used that tricky word "many" in his discussion of the allegations. "Many" violations occurred before he got there. That's walking a fine line--could be lying to a congregation of 2,000 people. Attorney speak at its best.

For all the talk of Mullen's ego...well Rev Freeze has a massive one as well. His fanbase strokes the hell out of it too.

Let freeze lose 3 of 4 egg bowls and om won't be stroking freeze's ego so much

I lost a lot of respect for Chip Henderson when he turned his pulpit at Pinelake over to this bastard.

Make no mistake, it's all one big show. Freeze wants to make sure people know how badass of a Christian he is, even to the point of holding prayer meetings in end zones. I bet I could have a conversation with him and have him fighting mad and cursing like a drunk sailor within 5 minutes.

The way his recruiting is going, he might be ready for Medicare before he loses three or four Egg Bowls.

I'd put the odds of him winning 3 or 4 more Egg Bowls vs coaching in 3 or 4 more Egg Bowls at even money.

Those mother17ers were ready to jump ship after the Memphis loss, won't take long before the natives get restless next season.

Un-damn-believable **** right there. This is what I think of when I see freeze. I know it's likely not fair to him but my fandom is my excuse.

At a Benny Hinn revival you wear a red sports coat, at a Hugh Freeze revival you wear red pants... big difference, sir.

"and overall I think he is trying to do positive things"

Are you serious about this statement?

I do not envision a way that you could be. Perhaps I missed the sarcasm.

I'm no Freeze fan but I do believe he does a lot of good things for people. I

Have a friend that has known him for a long time. His view is somewhat negative of Hugh
from many years ago. It appears to me he is trying to atone for some past wrongs but just my opinion. I think it would be silly to ignore the fact that he has had some positive impact on many people with his message. Do I have a positive view? Not really, don't totally trust his motives.

I usually agree with you coach, but in this case I think you're wrong. I think he's nothing but a charlatan who uses "religion" for his own purposes.
