It was at Wayne's Royal Lex apartment, actually. I was a sophomore in high school visiting my brother for the weekend (he and Wayne were roommates). Pretty good story, actually. Their roid head buddy was promised the bedroom (other roommate was out of town for the weekend) and went completely apeshit banging on the door the whole time. I think Wayne and my brother finally told him to chill out and grab the couch.

Life, enjoy the ride.

Dating at my age is WAF. Even moreso when you are a suspicious WOP like me and refuse to trust most/all of the ******** coming my way.

*MyEx husband is supposed to pay the mortgage and hasn't in two months.
**** off.

*I just found out my ex didn't keep insurance on my kid. Now she needs braces.
**** off. Her teef can **** off top.

I don't think I'll go out with another chick unless someone I know gives a decent rec.

Basically, from what I can see, Gustavo’s and Drake’s are not the spot for any V that has a mouth and uses it to talk.

Maybe you should venture back to your roots and visit the south side a little more!

Are they asking you for money? WTF?

I sincerely hope you get this thing figured out, because if fun uninhibited guilt and commitment free intercourse is your goal, there’s an endless pool of V just waiting for a dude like you.
No asking, but implying.

Same to me. So eat ****.

Dude I went out on an awful lot of dates when I was single, and I don't remember a single woman implying/asking me to pay for a gd thing, other than the pre-intercourse meal or cocktail. Seriously, I cannot state enough how badly MOST of the chicks you meet at that age/place in life just desperately want to get taken to Pound Town.

Need to put you thru a dating boot camp or something.

Come on, Bern. Us old, married, boring guys need to live vicariously thru you.

Every “pre-preseason” poll has us Top 5- most Top 3.

This isn’t an outlandish take no matter how mad the fans are.
Pretty interesting spot for the program. If we had gone deep in the tourney this year, non-idiot UK fans would look around and see Calipari as the only superstar coach left and be harkened that he's best positioned to use the NIL and transfer portal to put UK as a contender every year coming up.

But that loss was so utterly terrible and Calipari's ******** has worn so thin with the BBN (and deservedly so) that UK fans, almost universally, are over it and aren't going to be particularly excited until we win something of any substance.

It’s odd to say this given Memphis defensive stats, but man they are lazy on defense. They can absolutely square up and guard you, but any back door cuts are WIDE open, once you get them chasing they over chase 100% of the time leaving themselves vulnerable everywhere else.

Maybe it’s just GSW ability to capatilize on the weaknesses, but it’s glaring at this point and going to cost Memphis if they can’t shore it up.

Also the Sharpe situation pissed everyone off. It bought him some positive vibes from BBN after 9-16, but that goodwill wasn't paid for, it was a loan for a player we expected was coming. He's paying it back now with interest.

Nobody is asking a guy that drives an 82 Accord with manual windows, for money.

-Anyone is welcome to start a new GYERO if they really think that's why our basketball program is off kilter. It's not. FYI, this was started after the 2015 loss. 16M views, that's pretty wild.

-Solid Birthday weekend. Friday fishing, Saturday we run ruled the #1 team, nice lil ride, Ruby's with the Crew. Broke the diet to absolutely destroy some Hummingbird cake.

-Finally Boat gets the overcooked steak at dinner. Mine was spot on. Maybe the best steak I've ever had. Hopefully this is the new trend.

-Go get em, Bern. Fish in a barrel.

-So Tuesday, we play the new #1 team and certainly a neighborhood rival, however we have a school play at literally the exact same time. We're going with let him decide. Hopefully rainout will fix the issue. Looks promising. I know what my Mentor, rax, would do.

-Derby week. LFG. Typical forecast too.

-First weekend 'Boys of Summer' (credit Richie) felt right. G makes me roll the windows down when we play it. Good call, kiddo.

-Cincinnati Reds are 3-19. Lol JFC. My Dad could've easily picked the Dodgers(family is from Brooklyn), Yankees(Grandpa's team), or Cardinals(Redbirds affiliation and proximity) as his favorite franchise. All with connections to the family. 22 games in and we're 11.5 games out.

- I go back and forth on Mingione. I know the trajectory is all wrong, and I've said he should go, but the guy has also lost his entire weekend rotation (or something like that) to injury. And they won series against two (at the time) ranked programs this season in TCU and Georgia. I think the next three weeks will give the clearest picture of where the program is. Can they avoid getting swept by UT? Can they take advantage of a down South Carolina team and win that series on the road? Can they win their final home series against an improved Auburn program? Do those three things, and sweep the two non-conference games remaining, and I could see giving him another year. Anything short, and you make a move, IMO.

- Caught some of that UT/Auburn game the other night. Man, that bunch from Knoxville loves to chirp and puff out their chests. You can do that when you're clearly the best team in America, but that coach they got is a real arrogant piece of work. Makes me jealous, actually.

- I'm betting on Sean Miller coming back with a vengeance. He's had a year to recharge his batteries, and study the portal/NIL landscape from a distance instead of on the fly. He's won nearly 75 percent of his games and recruits (albeit with help ALLEGEDLY) at a high level. I think he kills it at Xavier and ends up somewhere big in relatively short order.

lol at ANYONE in this, the premier sports thread on the internet, taking UK’s preseason ranking seriously I mean am I the only one with a memory on here

What are we supposed to use as a reference point to discuss the upcoming season? Just continue to cry and whine and throw tantrums - or in your case, make sillyass detached dad jokes? Lol Simpsons- hahaha F you, Max.

This is a Kentucky basketball and football thread and I intend to have rational - and yes maybe even semi-optimistic - conversation about our teams.

You need to step your game up because you used to be a good poster but you haven’t been worth a **** the last couple years.

I had prior commitments for my date's Birthday. Cancelled our private ressies elsewhere to join the crew on a last-minute invite, had a blast, then had to meet some other people that we were already running over an hour late on.

Arrived at Ruby's at 7:55, dinner was at 8:15 ----> we left at 11pm - check had still not arrived. 3 hours+ for a dinner was plenty, given my circumstances, and if it isn't I clearly couldn't care less.

... you guys ultimately finished in around 4 hours. I mean.

Prepare for the same when you try and pull that **** 3 meals per day in NOLA.

You left to go to a bar that had a total of 6 people in it. At least 3 were homeless people picking up half finished drinks off the tables.

Vote was taken before we left the room. Sorry, bubs.
