I was mainly referring to midnight madness , but yes overall , by 4 decades of passion are being drained by Cal ( and the system in the current NCAA ) the transfer portal , the none and done , the play 12 games and done , the list of things Cal has done to ruin our traditions

The only thing I see Cal doing that would change the narrative is winning a National Championship. We know how difficult that is, but measuring the sentiments of the fans...that literally is the only thing that seems to be something that gets them back to feeling positive about the program.

This is a warning as to why you don't give lifetime contract extensions. I looked how Bruce Pearl fresh off his extension coached in the NCAA loss to Miami. He didn't resemble the guy who had their fans excited all year, he looked like he just accepted defeat and didn't care. $$$ and security change outlooks. I've never made enough to feel secure and I am not wired that way...kind of always looking for next thing, don't enjoy success long, but easier for me to say as a Thousand'aire rather than a guy who makes 8 figures

Part of why UK is a historic program is the support no matter what. I understand being angry at Calipari/Sharpe situation but what does the team who does suit up to play have to do with this?
Now I find BBM really boring and have resorted to DVR'ing it due the waste of forcing women's team content/appearance on the viewer. I don't care about Women's team. Don't care who the coach was/is. After you've seen 1 or 2 they are all the same with different players but what used to be an exciting event is stale too.
Big Blue Bahamas is much more must see for me. Enjoy that in August.

To all those saying that we can't boycott things because the players don't deserve it. Sorry, but I want my "team first" program back. There will always be some short term collateral damage in a bad breakup and a few players on this team would be caught in it, no doubt. But sometimes things have to get worse before they get better. It seems so few of them actually want to be at UK these days anyway.

Program going down the toilet? Wtf? We are getting back the NPOY and are going to end up starting the season at least preseason top 3. The Sharpe thing sucks, the program and team as a whole is going to be fine.
Oh good. Another preseason top 3 we can hang our hat on when we don’t win the conference, conference tournament, or the NCAA tournament. Thank God for that preseason top 3 though.
No guarantee we do anything with it obviously, but claiming a program is going down the toilet while we return the NPOY and add 2 top 10 recruits is ludicrous.
So say we are preseason #3, we don’t win the conference, we don’t win the conference tournament, and we get bumped in the second round or sweet 16, is that not going down the toilet? Is that living up to the preseason ranking?
