Wheeler is also 5’8 on a good day and can’t defend or create his own shot. I’ll take scoring and defending over a little better passing 10/10 times. If you’re that small you better be ulis good, he’s not even close.
Can't create his own shot ? Ok we are done. Lol. At 5'8 he has to create every shot. You just gave yourself away. I notice you didn't mention Rondo and Wheeler stat comparison. Damn sure didn't talk about leadership qualities. Why not ? Great player no denting, but Rondo was a cancer here.

Why so much hate for Bob Cousy finalist?
Its not hate to tell the truth .. hes not worthy of running show for the Kentucky Wildcats . Just too many limitations and weaknesses .. its not personal , Kid plays his tail off , he just isnt good enough

Wheeler is a liability in half court sets and when the game slows down. In transition he can be a great point guard. Unless he becomes a better shooter and plays under control UK will struggle in the tournament when most teams grind out the game.
Hopefully Dillimgham will commit and reclassifying.

He makes some questionable decisions and needs to improve his shot, but the country considered 5 PG for Bob Cosey award, he was one of them

It was when Washington got hurt and Grady forgot how to shoot.
Grady didn’t forget how to shoot. He was injured for most of the year and not even our dumbass coach knew it. And if he did know it, then Sharpe should have been playing.

I still think Wheeler is a really good point guard. Just can't be the guy having to create basket for himself in crunch time. Look how great we played when Tyty could do that for us. I'm def fine with taking another PG, specially one that can play the 2 if need be, but I wouldn't be running Wheeler out of town.
Wheeler dribbles too much and is too late in starting our offense in half court sets

My answer is itll be wheeler bc i dont see Cal bringing in a new guy and immediately giving him the reigns over a senior, 2nd year guard in the system. No way no how

lol rondo a cancer. No denting you’re a retard
Very intelligent response, keep typing you are really revealing your intelligence level. But a little advice for you, I would not keep using g the very last word in your response. You can choose 20 other ones to use, that one is not one you should be throwing out. Just a little advice. Now that I got that off my mind, do you really think rondo was a good teammate and leader at UK?

I literally eat dinner with rondo when he comes to town. He was teammates in HS with my cousin. He’s a good guy. You acting like you know him and pretending you’re hindered by a locker room dynamic you’ve never been apart of is kind of sad. Also if you’re offended by the word retard, idk what to tell you

What if you don’t think any of those options are worth a damn?

Wheeler needs to get in shape after he learns how to shoot a basketball. Does he have a drinking problem? I know girls who have tubby faces that don’t match their body types because of alcohol.

It will be Wheeler but we would be much better off with a score first PG like Dillingham or even the Davis kid from Detroit. Wheeler’s strong suit is in transition and it was clear that by tournament time Cal is pulling the reigns on that. It was proven this year that Wheeler is a liability in a slowed down game. While he is talented and a pretty decent traditional PG, that position is overrated in todays game
Wheeler can back up Davis
Why is it so hard to understand, you have to score to win
Davis with Miller and Reeves would sure be nice

Wheeler is the PG, unfortunately. Wallace will move over just like Washington. Same old story. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results. Playing Wheeler at PG again is pretty much crazy, IMHO.
