The Fellowship of the Miserable who have been permitted to ruin this Board will NEVER "chill out"...

Some are so full of crap, the toilet's jealous.Lol, so many posters here look like absolute idiots with their statements on Sharpe. Who knows what will happen, but so many here have talked about this like they know all the facts and have been a fly on the wall for every conversation Sharpe and Cal have had.
Grow up. The season is over.Okay then why did Cal not play him this year? Nobody has answers that question with a satisfying answer, only "why do you care, stop being so negative."
Thank you for not tagging that troll. As Butters would say, don't sleep on Collins
The NBA may want him, but if it involves changing language in the CBA then the players union will want something in exchange. That’s how contracts work. If one side wants to open it up, the other side will want to get something out of it as well. Question is will the contract have to be opened, and if so is the NBA willing to give players something they don’t currently get so a potential star can come a year early? He is going to be eligible does anybody honestly think he isn’t going to fight the ruling, why would the NBA try to keep out a potential star, I want him back just as bad anybody but people are fishing for stuff that isn’t there
I have at least questioned it since it was announced he was eligible. I asked the question how is he eligible if he was playing HS games in Oct/Nov. Btw I still think it’s likely he has been ruled eligible and will declare soon but if that does happen my original question still hasn’t been answered. Why is anybody saying “I’ve been telling you guys this for months“.?
No you haven’t. This is about being eligible for the draft which everyone, and I mean everyone, thought he was. You were not the only person in the entire world to think he wouldn’t be eligible for the draft.
Good for you, I understand where you are coming from. I trump your fandom by about 20 years. I hope you are correct in the gut feelings you have. You have to admit that the Sharpe saga has been/is/and seems to continue to be a 3 ring circus since the day he got here. Oscar is a joy to watch in a UK uniform, we will not see his like again for a very long time.Ive been telling you guys about my big blue feelings regarding Oscar and Sharpe for a month now and most of you ished on my head. I have been a UK fan since 1978, born and breed in Ky and at least a 3rd generation UK fan. I freakin bleed blue. No I dont have sources I have bulit in “feelings” about this basketball program that I have been grooming for 45 yrs.
Oscar and Sharpe will lead Kentucky back to the Mt top of college basketball next season, along with the other horses we have on the roster. Cal will be vindicated as UK goes down in history as the only 40-o team ever!
Keep doubting me as it fuels my inter rage!
Tucker weighs in. Each day I feel like he knows less and less so I am not really buying anything he puts out there right now.
I guess that speaks volumes for how much I care about " the league"Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Yes he did. Cal made it plain Sharpe was not going to play.Still Cal should have told the fans after said point, we are jot playing Sharpe. He never did.
I give you credit for that, you did say that, repeatedly. I called you out for it, so I’ll gladly eat as much crow as you wish to serve if he isn’t eligible. I still think he will be, but I’m praying I’ll be feasting before the week is over.FWIW, I tried to tell you guys this back when everyone was losing their minds but nobody wanted to listen.
Because he was pulling one of those move that kids are doing now to avoid college. Staying in high school 5 years and making sure they're at least 19 by the time they're a year away from graduation so that they only have to stay in school 1 year max. He was able to graduate before his final year started but didn't because - I dunno, nothing matters with these kids when it comes to age, credits, graduation dates etc. So technically he could have graduated before his final season even started. So his "technical" graduation date would be different than when he actually left school I think. His case wouldn't change much as far as the NBAs rules are concerned - he was a kid who was already 18 and still originally planning on playing high school ball. His original high school timeline would have had him being 19 before his freshman year of college which would mean he'd be 20 by the time of the draft a so I think this was always Sharpe's plan because kids as talented as him are never that old after only 1 year. Look at DJ Wagner for example - he'll just turn 18 the Summer before his Freshman year and will just turn 19 and be a year removed from graduation the Summer before the draft. I think Sharpe always intended on pulling this move and while there's no official ruling I think he's confident he'll be eligible because I would wager his people have already looked into this extensively and based on what has been said regarding his eligibility for the last 3 months - he's going to be eligible.I have at least questioned it since it was announced he was eligible. I asked the question how is he eligible if he was playing HS games in Oct/Nov. Btw I still think it’s likely he has been ruled eligible and will declare soon but if that does happen my original question still hasn’t been answered.
And how do you know that? Unbelievable how some people jump to conclusions without any facts to back it up.After yesterday, I ain’t saying squat! Return, great! If not, so what?! Unlike Oscar, the guy clearly doesn’t want to be in college.
Nobody I’ve ever seen, December/early Janurary is the earliest in my neck of the woods. The whole deadline thing was that he needed to be graduated from HS before the start of NBA season.
I don't think this means Sharpe isn't sharp. It just means he may have not been graduated in time which makes sense. Who graduates in September/October?
Yes he did. Cal made it plain Sharpe was not going to play.
You can say all this and that's cool. But what I want is either someone from the NBA or one of the draft experts to explain how he would even be considered to be draft eligible. I don't remember any other cases like this and the rule is pretty simple, and also clear he doesn't meet the rule requirement.Because he was pulling one of those move that kids are doing now to avoid college. Staying in high school 5 years and making sure they're at least 19 by the time they're a year away from graduation so that they only have to stay in school 1 year max. Sure you did. And of course you said it, right?I mean I always wondered how on Earth he would be eligible anyways....this could be massive.
Tucker is a dbag but nothing he says will have an impact on this one way or another. It will play out however it does and nobody knows the exact details except Sharpe and his camp.Kyle Tucker = Mr. No Fun
Fortunately he’s wrong about half the time.
Yeah, I agree. This must be what what the guy who played for RP back in the day was telling me he heard, but I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet. That dude knows jack ****. Hope for the best but expect the worst. Best way to go about it IMO. It is fun to dream though. Man, Oscar and Shannon Sharpes son breaking fools down. Man.
that has been said from the very beginningStill Cal should have told the fans after said point, we are jot playing Sharpe. He never did.
I agree, you'd want to hear something official but based on EVERYTHING everyone in the know is saying it seems like if he wants to go he'll be ruled eligible for whatever reason. I think the NBA hinges it on the fact that he's a 5 year high school kid and will be 19 before the draft. If a 4 year kid that maybe would have been held back in grade school but managed to graduate high school in 4 years and be 19 before the draft I don't think the NBA would allow it but because Sharpe stayed in high school a year longer than he should have and will be 19 without playing it allows him to slip through a loophole. You can say all this and that's cool. But what I want is either someone from the NBA or one of the draft experts to explain how he would even be considered to be draft eligible. I don't remember any other cases like this and the rule is pretty simple, and also clear he doesn't meet the rule requirement.

So declare for something that he won’t even be apart of? Seems like a waste of time to me…..While Tucker is correct that the NBA will only rule on his eligibility after he declares l, I think we all know that behind the scenes the Sharpe camp has a good feel for which way the ruling is gonna go. I fully expect for him to declare and for this process to take a while to play out.
You should stay off the mash.Nickels ... I see you're still fixated on "hate". It's all you think about and it's all you post about ... except for your occasional fetish with Farts and Slobber ... which reminds me that the universe is made of protons, neutrons, electrons, and morons. That's how I see the universe ... with you in it. Weird, right?
