I'm not sharpe enough to understand this eitherDoesn't make sense to me. He was not eligible but then he was eligible and now he isnt after all? As the Sharpe turns.

If he doesn't wanna be on a team at UK next year then find somewhere to go for a bit. We want UK guys and a team of together for all. If Sharpe is willing to give us a honest year I'll be glad to cheer for him. Just want him to want to be here so maybe he becomes a guy we all like instead of one we all thought was giving us the finger. Go Cats!!So would he play or sit out another year?
Because he is old enough to already play in the NBA, you all don’t think he is going to do everything he can to atleast have a chance at getting draftedWhy would he fight the ruling? If he’s ineligible then play college like you been telling everyone consistently for the last several months. This isn’t a fight to test the waters. Who the hell would do that. Also wouldn’t sharpe know he’s ineligible? Is this why he hasn’t declared? Because he can’t? Change the CBA to allow a guy to test the waters? Lmao.
im like the other dude though. I want to hear something a little more credible than random Twitter users
Exactly they are waiting until the last minute to make sure everything is lined up and they have all the necessary paperwork in case they have to get another ruling.I assume they are basing that on the fact he didn't graduate until December, so the NBS season already started making next season not a full year removed from High School. The reports that he was going to be eligible because he had the credits to finish high school in like, October or something. Before the NBA season started. Probably why it's been reported this week they haven't even filed paperwork to enter the draft process yet, they are trying to get everything lined out first. This is all conjecture I've gathered from beat writers this week.
But hey, if true, gonna be a hell of a long summer waiting to see this dude on the court at Rupp.
This would be my only guess as well, but the reports that came out mid season, maybe January, sure seemed to suggest that his eligibility was confirmed by the NBA at that time.I assume they are basing that on the fact he didn't graduate until December, so the NBS season already started making next season not a full year removed from High School. You would think, but eligibility isn't actually ruled on until you enter the draft apparently. This would be my only guess as well, but the reports that came out mid season, maybe January, sure seemed to suggest that his eligibility was confirmed by the NBA at that time.
Yes but did anybody in his camp or UK actually contact the NBA for an official ruling until now? I know we may think that’s what’s been going on but maybe no one but us fans were as concerned with that until now. IdkThis would be my only guess as well, but the reports that came out mid season, maybe January, sure seemed to suggest that his eligibility was confirmed by the NBA at that time.
The other thing to consider is that Shaedon's argument would be, yes, I didn't technically graduate but DID have the credits before October...I assume they are basing that on the fact he didn't graduate until December, so the NBS season already started making next season not a full year removed from High School. Age is not the only criteria and it sounds like they will actually have to change the current CBA for sharpe to “test the waters”. That’s not happening by Sunday. So here’s what’s happening reading between the lines.Because he is old enough to already play in the NBA, you all don’t think he is going to do everything he can to atleast have a chance at getting drafted
At this rate the NCAA will find a reason to declare him ineligible at UKThe other thing to consider is that Shaedon's argument would be, yes, I didn't technically graduate but DID have the credits before October...
HOWEVER, he also played in high school athletic competition even AFTER that and was eligible to do so. So if I were the NBA, I would look at that and say, well you COULD'VE graduated, sure, but you still followed up playing in a high school event as late as October 15th or so (Geico Top Flight against Prolific Prep).
Very interesting...
He can drop the classes in 5 mins that’s easy, I think this is a troll by some people to get Kentucky fans worked up, Tucker has said numerous times the past couple of days sharpe is testing the process and while there may be some eligibility questions his people have anticipated this and are working on getting everything lined up. If the source isn’t slater Tucker or a national writer more times than not don’t believe itAge is not the only criteria and it sounds like they will actually have to change the current CBA for sharpe to “test the waters”. sharpe is at Kentucky as a back up plan for the nba. Seems like he’s probably known it’s iffy as to whether the rules will change for him. How do I know this? Because he’s registered in classes, he hasn’t declared, and of course he keeps telling the staff he will be in Lexington next year. All after sitting this season to keep his current draft status. It hasn’t made sense to this point that if he were to enter the draft why he hasn’t yet.
Ok why hasn’t sharpe declared by now? Why are tucker and Jones saying he’s telling the staff he will be on the team next year? There is another dimension to this that doesn’t add up.He can drop the classes in 5 mins that’s easy, I think this is a troll by some people to get Kentucky fans worked up, Tucker has said numerous times the past couple of days sharpe is testing the process and while there may be some eligibility questions his people have anticipated this and are working on getting everything lined up. All I've ever had on Sharpe was what friend had heard-he said Staff kept saying Sharpe would be returning and my friend was skeptical. He'd love to be wrong on this and think we all would love for Sharpe to be at UK.@ralphdaltonfan whats up man? You make more sense than any of us. What you say?
That’s the one little detail that gets me to, but he is the same age as me, people my age change their mind all the time, I guess we will see but I am going to be skeptical unless a legit source is reporting something or sharpe says something himselfOk why hasn’t sharpe declared by now? Ineligible for what reason? I don’t do Twitter.Lol if Sharpe really is ineligible now’s a good time to buy pitchfork stock
No Sharpe is ineligible for the 2022 NBA draft, a return to Kentucky will be announced in the coming days.Oh. You meant ineligible for the draft……
He had the credits to graduate in time to be eligible but didn’t officially graduate until later. Or so the story goes.Ineligible for what reason? I don’t do Twitter.
I think it has something to do with the time frame in which he really graduated from High School. My guess is his team reached out to the NBA and the NBA dug into the situation, which concluded with him not being eligible this year. So a return to Kentucky will be announced.Ineligible for what reason? I don’t do Twitter.
Thanks. He had the credits to graduate in time to be eligible but didn’t officially graduate until later. Or so the story goes.

Twitter says cal is amazing.Listen people don’t realize how easily bought I am. But it makes sense if you go by the tweets I’m gonna go by the tweets.
well according to some on here Cal knew he was eligible for the draftAge is not the only criteria and it sounds like they will actually have to change the current CBA for sharpe to “test the waters”. That’s not happening by Sunday. So here’s what’s happening reading between the lines.
