Jerry West filing suit against HBO for defamation on his character and demanding it be retracted within two weeks because it doesn’t depict him fairly, is actually exactly how it depicts him.
It's a great character. He argues the stuff about him is not even in the book which is what the series is based on.

And its played by an Australian actor. I heard him speak on an interview the other day and was like whoa.

- I have fond memories of the newspaper-style versions of The Sporting News, Basketball Times and Baseball America being delivered to my house as a kid. Would inhale those pubs.

- The Magic Johnson casting in “Winning Time” is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

- Righteous Gemstones season 2 is a bit of a mess. No clue what they’re doing with Kelvin’s character. I mean I get it- he’s gay but what an awful plot line.

- My sister and brother-in-law have now visited 25+ national parks and this is how he ranked the Top 20. Thoughts?

1. Denali
2. Yellowstone
3. Zion
4. Glacier
5. Kenai
6. Grand Canyon
7. National Parks of New York Harbor
8. Rocky Mountain National Park
9. Sequoia
10. Olympus
11. Yosemite
12. Mesa Verde
13. Tetons
14. Arches
15. Mt. Rainier
16. Joshua Tree
17. Kings Canyon
18. Great Sandunes
19. Bryce Canyon
20. Canyonlands

My uncle is a vet and used to give us stitches, emergency medical care, etc as kids all the time.
The '09 trip to the Plains found a slightly overmedicated Bonz face-planted into the side of a bathtub of a seedy Motel 6 we were bunking in. So 6 a.m. of game-day Chief is driving my bloody noggin around town trying to find an Immediate Care Center or doctors office to stitch up a gash in my eyebrow.

Knowing that a hospital trip would likely result in bloodwork that could attract the authorities delaying our arrival at the tailgate and potentially missing the game, we had to settle on a local veterinarian to suture the wound.

13 stitches along the eyebrow and a few hours later I was beeboppin' and skattin' around the tailgate, on the cusp of seeing Cobb & Locke run all over War Eagle, along with the birth of #Taste. Historic experience to witness all thanks to Auburns wonderful abundance of vets who know to mind their p's & q's.

This time of year I just peak into the HOB to get some sort of an idea of roster shakeup and my only thought is that the portal stuff must be an absolute nightmare for coaches. Complete chaos, everyday one of the "insiders" has a new name to watch.

Yeah but that’s why they make the big bucks. Imagine being a mid major coach now.

I would have Bryce Canyon much higher but I do think you really have to love hiking to love Bryce.

The Smokies get a bad reputation for the crowds and all the stuff that surrounds it but the park itself is fantastic.

Death Valley NP probably surprised me the most. Just an interesting place.

Joshua Tree would be all the way at the bottom for me.

I've been to 11 of the 20 listed. To me, I don't see how Yellowstone isn't #1 on anyone's list. The uniqueness of its features, natural beauty of the landscape, and incredible diversity of wildlife is just unmatched.

If Denali is indeed better than Yellowstone, that's a helluva compliment. I personally would rank Arches way higher than they have them.

I know I’ve mentioned my buddy in here before and how he has a friend in the athletic dept. He’s been right on some things before, wrong on a couple as well (more right than wrong). Here is his quote to me on Sharpe.

“still most likely gone…some recent optimism he stays but they truly don’t know. I’d put it at 70/30 gone”

Take it for what it’s worth and bash away if you want.

The amount of spin Cal would have to do to justify Sharpe NOT playing this past season on one of the most likable teams in ages, only to suit up this season* would be improbable, even for his standards.

*it's not happening

Makes even less sense for him to be here in the first place.
You aren’t wrong. It’s just weird all the way around. Neither decision makes sense.

*So I assume this good news that KSR is hyping today is Oscar announcing he’s back?

With the way things are going they're probably announcing Oscar is starring in the drag show as "Lady O" where he'll announce that Sharpe is turning pro.

Disclaimer: This is a joke and not meant to upset anyone.

What’s all this talk about senior trips on KSR?

I’ve seen it in movies, heard it on radio but have never personally known anyone that went on one. Was it a thing in your areas?
