Moments ago, according to Kyle Tucker, he stated that he will make a decision public before Sunday evening expires. Tucker goes on to say that the decision will be he's testing the NBA Waters but will not hire an agent. And really there's nothing to see here because that's what we all thought was going to happen. The only thing new is apparently Sharpe verbalized something about it

There’s been speculation elsewhere he wants a top 10 guarantee to 100% go ...he’d have to do his workouts and ‘go thru the process’ to get that , for sure

He was going to be here for the 22-23 season...then his camp says he will be here then he might declare...now hes going to test the waters but not hire an agent.....and this little drama episide could very well cost us a couple players from the portal...
Just announce what the hell everybody already knows and leave.Cal will just have to take the heat for this fiasco. He wont be here so why should he give a crap about what fans think. Most already have an opinion about this soap opera anyway....gooooooo...runnnnnnn...

Where did you see this? Not seeing anything about this anywhere which would seem odd

Just my opinion. Seems strange to wait to the last minute just to say you’re testing the water.

I could see that, but I think given the amount of scrutiny Calipari is about to come under, they want this to stretch out. Cals a marketing genius, he knows the best way to approach this is by pounding people down with it over time. It creates natural apathy.

And if you think about it, I don’t think he can announce he’s leaving yet. He’d look like a total liar. Personally I think the plan all along was to lie about it and allow Cal to make the call on the announcement. Cal wouldn’t want it out yet. And it wouldn’t kill recruiting necessarily from his vantage point because he’ll probably be telling whoever he wants sharpe isn’t going to be here.

The fact that Calipari is recruiting Shaedons position is all we really need to know.

If that is the case, then he's "100% go." There's no chance he falls out of the top-10 in this draft. Our best chance to see him play for UK next year is if he had his sights set on top-3. If he's happy with the #10 pick will earn around $11M over his first 3 years. The #3 pick will earn $21M. #2 $23.5M. And #1 $26M. I doubt he moves up to top-3 in this draft, and I doubt he falls out of the top-3 in next years draft.

But I also expect he 100% goes, and none of this really matters if he does.

But, at this point in time, we only have a report that Sharpe will say something. He still hasn't said anything. So nothing's really changed. Cal haters will still hate; Cal apologists will still apologize; and I'm just gonna wait (hopefully) patiently until I actually know something.

I still find it funny when UK fans insinuate there’s validity to the idea that “coming back to go from 10 to 3” in the draft is actually a viable option.

Really to me if that’s where this situation is, we’ve come full circle under Calipari. There’s no way this should make sense to anyone.

When has Calipari ever suggested it’s okay to return as a top 10 pick to work on climbing higher?

Anybody that can’t see through Cal’s ways just won’t allow it to enter their brains. They’ve come to believe he is family, and family never does no wrong. Don’t know how anyone can be so obsessed with a coach, but here it is. Mind boggling.
