- Just hoping for the best pickup team we can scrap together by October. GO CATS!

- Dad had eye surgery yesterday so I've been taking care of him for the past 24 hours. This morning he tried to put on a pair of jeans over the pair of jeans he was already wearing. It has been a year since I was caring for mom...had forgotten how much it sucks watching your parents age.

- Offered to take him out for breakfast after his follow-up appointment this morning. Dude ALWAYS picks Bob Evans. I never see anyone else under the age of 60 eating in there, and it's always about 1/4 full. The rest of the menu is garbage(GARBAGE), but their 1. Biscuits and 2. Gravy are pretty good. Still....out of all the places in Lex...Bob Evans?

- With no Rickie and no J-Day, I'm #TeamFinau this weekend. But I just hope all the golfers have fun.

- I'm way too old to enjoy an outdoor music festival, but that Bourbon & Beyond Festival lineup is STACKED. Need to see a Railbird lineup sooner rather than later.

- Happy Opening Day everyone. Just hope my Guardians Indians finish near .500 this year. Go Tribe!

Livingston is a prototype modern 4 - plus he can shoot a bit and is tough.

I want to see what happens if Toppin gets a consistent 25 minutes too.

5- Oscar/Collins/Ware
4- Toppin/Livingston
Guards- Wallace, Fredrick, Wheeler

Need to add 3 more guards, two need to be 6’4” plus.
Best we can do is a 6’7 “big” from Arkansas St who’s made 1 three in 2 years.

At this point, the best I can hope for is that that idiot doesn't get desperate and start to flagrantly cheat, and land us on fvcking probation.

That would be a fitting end to this "administration"
I'm hoping for a medical retirement this offseason resulting from Type 2 diabetes. Because Calipari is a fat f***.

It is nice to see that Calipari is losing Cronkite.

- Re: Roster Shakeup

I still don’t believe Wheeler, Brooks or Oscar come back.

But I can be ok with a core of CJ, Toppin, Ware, Collins and the current two freshman we have. I also believe this group is more along the lines of a John Calipari type team. PG is an issue but I’m sure there will be one available.

I know you guys seem to like Toppin a lot, does he not remind you of CDR during Cal’s Memphis days?

- Distillery Board of Adjustments meeting was a complete disaster! Heading into it we were confident, but a guy 80 Proof mentioned as an attorney there just laced us with quite the performance we could not rebutt with the time slotted and since we didn’t seek counsel we had no clue how to respond.

That said this guy represented the Bluegrass Distillers in midway and legit took all their roadblocks and dumped them on us. Wish conflict of interest was an issue in this kind of situation!

Counsel was just hired and paid for.

- Great Wolf lodge is a perfect 2 day 1 night quick trip for the kids, however getting back and having the two youngest throwing up sick and one of the older kids having a severe ear infection is just brutal!

- Masters is the last fun thing we have until the NFL Draft. This 2 week gap is always a dead period for me every year! Then the NBA Playoffs. College football seems so far away.

- Hosting Easter. Just found out and I guess it’s better than running around on a Sunday. No clue what an Easter menu looks like beside ham and deviled eggs.

- Smashburgers on blackstone tonight. Starting easy here, but still excited.

It’s a shame Doc Boat isn’t on here anymore, because I’d be interested to know what he thought of Tiger’s recovery. I always assumed if Tiger could recover (i.e., no permanent damage), he’d be back in about 12-15 months. I’m just basing this on how long athletes are out with the most gruesome non-permanent injuries.

Just had my first Moon Pie in a few decades, pretty dope.

Vendor dropped off a bunch + a 6'er of RC. 🤣👍

-Toppin/CDR could possibly be the worst comp in GYERO history, lmao. Sure you aren't thinking of Robert Dozier, or maybe Anthony Peeler? Nice one, krazy!

-Chris Vernon's Masters update should be dropping any moment now. :fire:

Tiger with a bogey on the Par 5 8th, after a good tee shot. Did not look healthy at all on that hole. Followed by an ugly tee shot at 9. He can’t even squat down to read a putt. It’ll be a miracle just to complete 72 holes. Or even make the cut.

Told you those new wankers that have moved in from out of state were going to hire him.

You're on Voices of Versailles now too, though it's been more positive on the feedback than I thought. The longer it goes though, the harder time you'll have getting it passed.

I would absolutely love the thought of adding this Arkansas State kid...

....if we didn't already have Collins/Oscar/Ware/Toppin/Livingston

....if I knew Cal would play him as a 4 instead of trying to force him at the 3

---if he hadn't made only one 3 over the past two seasons

But since none of those are true, pass.

You don't need a 6-7, 230-pounder right now, unless Oscar and/or Ware or Toppin leaves. What you need are scorers/shooters. One period, two if/when Sharpe declares.

Your frontcourt is set with the five guys I listed above. If Oscar leaves, THEN you look at the Aimaq kid. Or whatever big ends up in the portal. But for now, you need guys at the 1-3 who can hit a shot, get to the line, or both. This ArkState kid is known as an unreal defender, which is fine, but you'd still need to play him with at least two other shooters on the floor. Which we don't have.
