The very best thing we can hear is an answer on draft, transfer or stay decision as fast as possible. Fast decisions really help the staff plan on recruiting actions and for other high school recruits and transfer portal players to see their role possibilities with Kentucky.

Win win for all parties plus it eliminates a big loss of time in everyone’s decision making process.

Good luck to Tyty Washington and thanks for the quick decision. Thank you Damion Collins for quick decision. Thank you Donte Allen for quick decision…wish you much luck and fortune.

Hope we get more decisions this week either way (stay or leave). Got to know quickly for players, coaches and BBN

I agree, I dislike the NBA extending the deadlines fairly recently. Makes it hard to build a roster when players can wait so long to withdraw when transfers and recruits are looking to make decisions sooner rather than later.

Fully agree but most important of all, Oscar, has said he's going trough the NBA draft process, so that won't be quick.

Same with Brooks. Hope the both come back. Brooks could be the senior glue that helps a young team next year. I think Brooks has gotten better each year and reminds me of Darius Miller of the 2012 team

Agree. The NBA extended deadlines is a F-You to the NCAA. So the NCAA should give it back, and let kids return to college if not like where they are drafted. They let baseball players be drafted and then go to college. Probably would be rare to affect a 1st round pick. But some guys who drop to the 2nd round, especially with NIL, would return.

Brooks is not as bad as many on this board claim. But he does have limitations and lapses, and has pretty much reached his ceiling. I think Toppin still has some room to improve, and Collins has a lot. So I’d rather see them get that chance.
Miller was much more versatile. His skills are more like Daniels from 20 years ago (damn that makes me feel old).

It would flood them with entrants too, which would probably be some level of inconvenience.

Not saying he hasn’t got better each year but I honestly believe we are better off if he goes to the nba or transfers. He’s so soft that it’s literally sickening. Give me some guys with similar talent and more guts and want too and I’m happy with it. Speaking of….cmon down Broome!!!

I loved that Daniels, Fitch, Azubuike, Hayes, Hawkins team growing up. Shame they flamed out to f'ng UAB.

Miller shot from 3 like Brooks did from 15 feet and could drive.

A lot of talent will test the waters.
Could make waiting very good or bad for coaches. If the players you are waiting on go to the league or don't choose your school then ruh roh. But if you wait and get better players it's great.

I think Cal is trying to get some commitments to ease the backlash before Sharpe announces. I did think it was interesting TYTY announced he was hiring an agent and right after Mgbako announced a date he was committing. I know they don’t play the same position, but was odd timing. His comments on UK sounded good but I’m sure it’s all part of the dog and pony show. We can hope I guess!

I agree, I wish they all would do it at once. I like what the 2015 team did. They all announced they were leaving at once and we got a chance to build a roster.

This waiting game is really tough on coaches.

OP, that was a lucid, well-thought out argument. Thank you for injecting a sense of reason and clarity to the board.

OVERRULED.

Why hasn't Sharpe decided yet?

Dude's been doing nothing but sitting on the bench for the past 4 months. Surely he knows by now lol
UK will have to be very careful with that one. Pretty sure we won’t see a big press release. If I’m Cal, I’m literally on my knees begging him to return. I’m saving my last bag on Orville Redenbacher for that day!😁

Well if the plan is/was to stay all along as we’ve been told … what decision? Just reiterate the plan hasn’t changed and we will see him in a UK uni next season. We could use the great news.
