When we played UL in 2012 I was sick. I hated that game. Because if UK had lost, it basically meant they lost the rivalry for forever.

K was coach at Duke for the whole time I can remember loving college basketball (1984 onward) and I'm almost 45. So, it's weird thinking that's it for him.

I went to high school in North Carolina where my classmates were 70% UNC fans. I hate UNC. I mean I hate them. But Duke is worse. The only rejoicing was K being gone. But now... to hell with UNC.
if you can’t rejoice in watching K/Duke go down, no matter who it’s to, especially in this once in a lifetime circumstance, then I don’t know what to tell ya. I mean what was the alternative? Duke wins? **** that. I hate them both, almost equally. That said, I do hope UNC loses by 20 Monday night.
Tomorrow I’m gonna head down to below KY/BARKLEY DAM’s to try and catch some skipjacks to put into the freezer. I’ll do so with a smile on my face because Duke lost. I won’t give one **** who wins Monday. I will watch because I have for the last 40 or so years and hope it’s an enjoyable game. If not I will turn on American Pickers.

You can be happy about Duke losing like this, but the real fans no there’s no positive outcome on Monday. Eff UNC and Kansas.
Ideal situation is that KU wins a close one and the has the title vacated so UNC fans get especially bitter. The universe may be healing!
