Yes I'm sure you all would have let him stay here to get to that point after going 13-19 and 20-14 back to back and missing the tournament 3 years in a row.
This is probably his least talented team at Villanova his system and adjustments in game are what makes him probably the best coach in college right now

Good coach. Can't see him ever leaving Villanova. He has been there since 2001 and makes $6 mill/year and Cal makes $8 mill/year. Would love to have him. Believe he is a better bench coach than Cal. Don't believe anyone has ever questioned him as a bench coach.

Can you imagine if he wins it this year that would be 3 championships to Triple C’s lonely 1 talking about being overpaid and underperforming!

That’s a stupid comparison. Cal didn’t light the world on fire in his first decade either. We want Wright for the coach he is now, just like we want Cal gone for the coach he is now.
Maybe. But being at Kentucky and Villanova aren’t on the same level especially if he takes over during the same time period at Kentucky.
I think he’s the best coach in basketball. Might not always have the most consistent postseason success but I love his rosters and him as a person.

As I said, I like Jay Wright. I would love it he was our coach as I feel he’s one of the few that brings both the on-court success and off court savviness.
That’s an absurd assumption. We don’t have ‘no chance.’ Again, comparing JW as a new coach to Cal in his prime is so biased it calls your credibility into question.
We definitely do not have a chance at pulling Wright away at this stage of his career. He’s a Philly guy.

That's true and he coaches a college basketball team, not a g league or aau game. We look nothing like this week's basketball games. The low scores are weird though, so if 50 points wins a elete 8 game, we should be able to get there you'd think.
You think a 60 year old guy who was born and raised in the Philly area, was an assistant at Villanova, been their head coach at Villanova for 21 years, won 2 national championships there and is married to a Villanova grad is going to leave that position to come here?
Yep, I know you think my comparison is stupid. Fact is, if he came here in 07 or 09, when we had openings and when we might have had a chance of getting him, and did here what he did at Villanova, he would have been shown the door.
