Why are we playing at UMass in 2016?

Really? Only 6 home games and a trip to Foxborough? Obviously means Mullen is going national in recruiting.***

You're almost right. The UMass series is a 2-for-1. Foxboro in 2016 and Starkville in 2017 and 2020.

Right, but the Tulane contract was like 10 or 15 years old. It was a part of the deal when Croom and JWS played them.

We dont need to let deals hang around on the books like that. We got burned because of it.

I don't blame Tulane. They didn't want to get their asses kicked and are trying to move in a different direction being in the AAC and all. They want OOC games that match up with their academic side as well. On the other hand they did leave us in a scheduling glitch temporarily and Strickland had to do a little work.

What's ironic about all of this is UMass is playing Tulane in 2016 as well. That's who Tulane replaced us with

Strick spoke about Tulane on the radio show from Charlotte earlier this week and he mentioned about how he would love to get them back on the schedule again. He mentioned that they have a new AD down there. That's obviously the reason why.
