Yes. A few times each year I watch Duke and KU flameouts on Youtube.

Now, others will be watching this debacle for a laugh for years to come.

It is truly SAD for those of us that have been around for decades. I was willing to trade off some of the traditional things about UK Basketball in return for success in March. The first 6 seasons it was a decent trade. But for the last 5, since we get VERY LITTLE in return, I'm SICK of hearing how rivalry games aren't that important to win, the SEC Tournament is a pain in the rear for him, we're a Players First Program and "the names on the back of the jersey are more important than the name on the front", how he HATES playing in pre-season tournaments and he doesn't like Home and Home series with good teams.

Add to all of that his CONSTANT belittling of the fan base by talking down to us ANYTIME a question arises about how he runs the program or his offensive and defensive philosophy that is considered OLD and OUTDATED.

He has REALLY worn out his welcome here through all of his HYPERBOLE that has just turned out to be BS!!!

Cal has slowly eroded the passion of this fanbase. He has taken the passion and the love of this fanbase and killed it. Took away the things UK was known for over the years.

Thsi fanbase traveled like no other and still does, but not like it did before, fans are blowing off games. The OAD killed the connection of fans and players. At first we were all drunk on it, but now we all have a hangover from it. Fans would save and mark when UK would be in the Maui every 3-4 years. No more of that. Cal kept UK out of the Phil Knight tourney. Why? Nobody reall knows. Senior night basically gone.

UK games were must see TV no matter who they played. Now folks are sort of meh about most games. Us Diehards still are, but even some of us are letting go of it.

I really don't want to say this because I didn't ever really fully liked him, but Pitino coached team runs Saint Peters off the floor tonight. Doesn't struggle to beat Vandy in the SECT.

When Pitino got UK rolling, they stayed rolling. 5-6 losses was a bad year. Teams were intimidated by UK. Now teams punk UK. This all lays at the feet of Cal.

These nonsensical post are becoming laughable. It’s any wonder this fan base as a whole is the laughingstock of college basketball.

This isn’t the 90’s. There is far more parity in college basketball today. I believe even Pitino would agree with that. I think with the Virginia beat down by a 16 seed proved that. Those days are long gone. Wake up to the reality of what college basketball is today. If you don’t you will continue to be disappointed.

something that has happened one time proves parity but it is unfair to look at the trend since 2015 against P5 non-conference teams and record against ranked opponents?

UNLV, Ark, AZ won titles in the 90s. SO did Duke, UNC, UK, UCONN, and UCLA.

That's 8 different schools Sparky. Seems like parity to me. Cal has you thinking UK did nothing until he arrived and you believe it.

WHo cares what dook did? I am a UK fan.

Btw, 42-17 is a lot better than 35-24. I'm no math whiz, but even I know that. Also, I believe dook is still playing so their numbers could improve. If you could think and reason on your own instead believing everything Cal sales you, you might be able to understand.

As I said in a thread , BCG ‘s 2 years was 40 wins and 27 losses and 1 sec tournament win and no ncaaT wins but at least made the NIT where cal missed the post season all together. that’s how far cal has fallen now

Not joking. We are at risk of becoming Indiana now so people need to put pressure on Mitch too

What a joke, you people think of every excuse to defend Cal. In the last 20 years one 16 seed has beat a 1. How many have beat a 2? Look at the NCAAT breakdown by seed. Bottom line Cal is turning this program into Indiana. So just keep making excuses for him.
