99% of coaches would called timeout after making that 3 even if they only had 1 left......Penny had 3 didn't do it to setup his DF

I agree 100%. That is poor coaching, penny should have called a timeout multiple times just to get his guys a break or slow a run but he just would never do it.

Well Memphis having 1 timeout now helps because if he misses the 2nd FT you could call it and set something up.

If he makes both FT's Memphis should throw it 90 feet for a layup only chance you have

I seen Butler do this down 4 in a NCAA tournament game before with like 4 seconds left. Threw it 90 Feet for a layup. Then tried for a steal and fouled.

Its your only shot

Refs realized they hadn't called any fouls on Zags so they called 5-6 in 1:30 that didn't result in FTs so it looked better in the box score.

Why are these coaches using these timeouts? Shouldn’t they just play it out?
