Damion Fishback did games last night and I always enjoy listening to him. Being a Auburn former player doesn't bother me at all he seems to be very even and gives U.K. Some like love. I guess being a Kentucky born and raised he understands our crazy perspective.

I just went and watched the highlights on youtube. Gus gives you goosebumps. The guy is straight passion.

Im in the minority in that I don't like Gus Johnson that much. He is okay for March Madness because of the excitement but way too excited the rest of the time. Pretty bad football announcer.

Whenever someone mentions any announcer or commentator on here, people are quick to jump in and announce how much they hate them. While we still have time before the SEC Tourney matters (when UK plays), who is an announcer you actually like? I'll go first: Bill Raftery. I've never felt a perceived bias. He's uber-smart, funny, entertaining and you can tell this man loves his job. And the stories told of him, post game, closing down a bar somewhere are legendary.

Raferty, Johnson, Dykes, Greenburg, Nance, Eagle, Harlan.

Walton and his former teammate Steve "Snapper" Jones used to be the best NBA announcing pair, but that was a "long strange trip" ago. I usually try to tune in and watch a little of the "Conference of Champions" game each week to hear Walton. I don't like him doing a game I actually care about who wins though. The other night he came up with something like, "that kid's mother is named Viola, undoubtedly that is who 'Viola Lee Blues' must have been about.

And hey, I like Dykes....I could do without his, "hard ball screen, violent cuts, etc, etc....But he knows the game.

Yep, I always liked his perspective when he used to do games, I also liked Bobby Knight when he used to do them too, and it has nothing to do with their background or which teams they were previously associated with.

Bill Walton is the one that I absolutely can't stand.

Kellog is trash. You like him because he likes Nolan Smith and he hates UK. He’s a big OSU guy but he’s complete trash and he sucks at calling games. He has bias every time out.

And I don’t hear articulate. “Squeeze the orange big man” is not articulate.

You’re very right. Mike Patrick was the ultimate Duke snobber. But Raftery to me has obvious bias for Duke.

I don't care what anyone thinks so I'm taking ole Jimmy Dykes. He loves UK, understands BBN and I'm still laughing when they dug up that song he recorded.

For CBS it's probably Nance. If he's calling your game you're either the best team or deep in the tourney.

But frankly I really don't pay attention to them unless it's a timeout or something.
