Jaguars 14-8 for the win. Held S. Panola out of the endzone at least four times on separate drives.

Did not see that coming. I knew MC started off hot early in the year but kinda cooled off later in the year. 6A now wide open.

Would it be fair to say S. Panola is the Mississippi high school equivalent of Bama?

Interesting they lost this weekend...

I thought the same thing. SP has probably been more dominant than Bama in last 7-8 years but yes programs are similar.

Wow. Didn't expect that. I did think Madison had a chance to make some noise though. Only 7-5 in the regular season, but played 8 teams that were ranked in the top 10 in either MS or LA at some point in the season. That's a lot of big game experience.

GO Jags. Proud MC band alum. Hope the bulldogs and the FMB can pull something similar off tomorrow.

Any coincidence they honored our 99 team this year, the last to beat USP, and then go on to beat them in the same year? I think not. Go jags.

With Brad Peterson MC will rise to new heights. In High School it is 90% Coach.

Agreed. Justice instilled toughness in to the program. Hall brought innovation as far as mobilizing the money in the community. Peterson is a combination of the both in the sense that he's the right guy and personality for the program as far as football but also understands how to take full advantage of the Big Blue Club's potential.
