It seems our step-slow defense tonight has affected our offense. My prediction is that, if we start out slow in second half, Cal will get thrown out to try to spark the team.
And Oscar’s slow feet defensively absolutely exposed. Every other team that plays us should just attack him. He is not a shot blocker and it’s quite easy to go past him. And this is probably one of the reasons the NBA is not keen on the dude.
Thanks to the rooferee sitting Fox on the bench for the entire 1st half with 2 quick cheap fouls after he had just dropped 39 on the #2 pick in the draft.

I didn’t say it was good. I didn’t care for it either. This one game doesn’t define who this team is! So many on here get their rocks off when we are having a bad game!
I think he meant late season losses, there's been a bunch of FF teams and title winners that lost by 20 in early season games, but it doesn’t get any more clear than UConn 2014 losing by 30 right before the tournament.
Mintz and Grady have the same stat line. 1/4 for 3 points, no rebounds, no assists, no steals.
Mintz is bringing the energy defensively though. Tenn is just shooting out of their minds.
Thing is even in the blowout at Rupp UT had a very good offensive game. It's just we shot incredibly well that game and this game not so much.

Well, the first 4 minutes will likely determine the rest of this game. Outscore them by 5-6 and your back in it.
That’s the one problem with this team and is what worries me in March. If we can’t speed up tempo and score in transition against good teams, we’re going to struggle. We’re just not a great half court offensive team. Everyone knows it including opposing coaching staffs. We struggle getting open shots for our shooters in the half court. It’s just a fact.

Everybody on the planet except cheat fans knows there's an asterisk on that elite 8 game.
The difference is cal gave us 4 final fours and tubby gave us one, his first year, with another coaches players, he never proved he could do it himself with his own recruits

The big difference in the UT offense is that they turned it over a bunch in Rupp. That kept them from being crazy good that day.
Tonight, they are taking care of the ball and shooting well, vaulting them to 1.44 PPP in the first half.
Washington doesn’t need to be on the floor. He’s not healthy enough to play right now. It’s obvious.
I commend TyTy for trying to play tonight but he’s a liability tonight due to his injury. Just get him healthy
