It’s ridiculous. Doesn’t stop the media from sucking them off. Seriously- tougher game - at South Carolina/Vanderbilt or any game in the WCC?
Average NET ranking of non-Gonzaga WCC teams is 149. That’s the average….

There are only six teams in all the P5 conferences that are ranked below 149 in the NET (GTech, BC, Pitt, Nebraska, Georgia and Oregon St). The WCC has 5…

Hell, St. Mary’s NET ranking went up because they played Gonzaga and lost by only 16.

SUPER BOWL RANDOS:

- First of all, let's get this out of the way: The University of Kentucky's Men's Basketball Team is Going to Win the Whole F****** Thing.

- Halftime Show Parlay (First Song/Last Song):

Nuthin' But a "G" Thang/California Love

They have to start with that, right?

"One, two, three and to the four
Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre is at the door
Ready to make an entrance, so back on up
('Cause you know we're 'bout to rip **** up)"

If I'm organizing it, yes, that's it.

Speaking of which, it's funny to think there are grandpas out there that will be bumping to gangsta rap. God, we are old.

* First scorer/winning team parlay:

C.J. Uzomah/Bengals 39/1

* First scorer/Last scorer:

Ja'Marr Chase/Tee Higgins 76/1

* Any touchdown parlay:

Joe Mixon/Cincinnati DEF 16/1

* Always throw $5 on:

Will there be a safety:

Yes 7/1

* What will be greater:

Akers & Mixon Combined Total Rushing Yards or Winning Time (Seconds) at the 2022 Kentucky Derby:

I am going to go by the 2:02 area on this, so I am going to bank on the Bengals OL to help get this 122+ yards. Big risk, but I'm all over Mixon.

* Total Sacks:

OVER 5

* Screw it, MVP:

Joe Mixon 25/1

* Straight up:

Bengals ML +165

- As ****** as it probably was, I am craving a school-style, rectangular pizza with some corn on the side; being washed down with a carton of chocolate milk.

- This might sound weird, but one of my favorite smells as a kid was walking into a carpet store. Just seemed so fresh and new.

- One of the most worthless transactions I made, but thought it was a goldmine in 1987:

"I'll give you three of these Cory Snyder cards for that Wally Joyner one."

- We are cracking open our first beer. By the way, did you tell you the basketball Cats are winning it all?

- Keeneland tickets go on sale next week.

* 65-degree day
* Everyone dressed up (and not stressed)
* Cashing tickets
* Cold, $9 beers
* Gabby Gaudet. Shew wee.
* Kurt Becker with his so calm, subtly and great, "They're at the post....they're off...."
* That place just knocking it out of the park, and letting the whole world know how to do hospitality.

- Lance Ware is a sneaky player that's climbing my list of favorite side-piece players. Really like what he's doing.

- The $25,000 Pyramid's (80's version) end-game is still the greatest 60 seconds (if it lasted that long) of game show-watching to me.

- I'm still the reigning Little Mister Lewis County. I guess they retired the thing after I won it in 1984.

- WHO DEY!

- To surmise: The University of Kentucky Men's Basketball team is going to win the whole f****** thing.

I just can’t see Stafford winning a game of this magnitude. He is good, but likely will fall to pressure even if it’s only built in his head.

Joe Burrow on the other hand, I don’t even think feels pressure. Much like Tom Brady and Joe Montana he is just forever cool and never off when it counts.

That’s what this game comes down to because at the end of it if LA gets pressure the Cinci OL can’t handle, Joe will adjust with roll outs and quick hit passing plays.

Cinci 20 - LA 17

  • Having trouble with the pick for tonight... I can see the Rams winning this game like 24-3 due to Cincy not being able to stop their pass rush, but I don't think I want to bet against Burrow/Chase.
  • If there ever was a "perfect" college basketball player in 2022, Oscar is it. Athletically superior to others in the game, huge heart, unique skillset, but has a few "flaws" that has kept him in college for at least three years. I know many will hate it, but it's kind of like Tyler Hansbrough's situation.
  • The girls are on a big Hannah Montana kick right now, so it's always on in our house. From the bits and pieces I've seen, I rank it well above "Liv and Maddy" and "Hey Jessie", but it will never beat "Saved by the Bell". But is that even a fair comparison?
  • Clicked on CNN to check out to see if we're about to be in a war with Russia. Primary headline: Joe Rogan's use of the n-word is another January 6 moment. What?

  • I want the Bengals, but think McVey is going to have a carnival of plays that embarrass WhoDey. OBJ tosses a TD prop bet is something to be explored. 38-21 Rams.
  • Wings 2-ways coming. Garlic Asian and Anchor Bar.
  • Lugers last night was a hoot. Outdoor table, but we had a unicorn 60° February evening to make it magical. porterhouse for 2, spinach. Juniors Cheesecake on Flatbush FTW.
  • Keion is an enigma. Dude effing vanishes in games and truly should not be allowed to dribble. He should stand in the middle of zone and break it down. He was horrible and disengaged. Confidence?
  • Oscar is a good enigma. A unicorn. His hands are inversely proportionally strong to sophomore Nick Richards.
  • Cal draggin his starters nuts on opponents in final 2-3 minutes is enjoyable.
  • Big Croatian dude for Vols is a stiff. But I can see a scenario where we get **** whistle at TB arena and this guy fouls Oscar incessantly and into Bolivian.
  • Corner from OSU? yes, please.

Here is the thing about Cinci’s OL vs pass rush….

The titans owned the best pass rush all season but it’s because we blitz from all over all game and you don’t know where from so picking it up has been hard for all the teams we played. Of course we relaxed against trash teams like the Jets/Texans and lost but we destroyed KC, Buffalo, LA, Seattle and Cinci(despite losing).

Along the same lines NO ONE stopped Max Crosby all year, his motor is unmatched.

But LA, they bring four and that’s it. They depend on Miller, Leonard, Donald to get there and they play back from there. Cinci can line up 5 on 4, or even 6 on 4 with a TE and handle that. It’s why SF doubled Donald the whole game and took there chances against the rest.

So based on that, I feel like that pass rush is just not enough even against an average at best OL.

Check the stats no one beside Donald, Miller or Leonard get to the QB.

The stock market traditionally does better when the NFC wins. Only a couple of points but still...

- Am I krazy for imagining Oscar in a football jersey if this basketball thing doesn’t work out? He is athletic enough to make the switch.

Cal is on Billions tonight. Show isn’t nearly as good without Ax. Hopefully he has an interesting story line.

^ That’s too bad.

As the lead extra in a Hollywood blockbuster many years ago I should have known it was just a cameo.

Dad was bummed about the $$$$$ of Super Bowl tickets so took him to the game yesterday as a surprise treat. Sprung for good lower level seats.

Probably obvious but I can’t ever remember this much energy for any non UK event around Lexington. Tons of bengals hats and jackets, even a few shirts in the crowd. He told me “I’d like to say I’m not stressed about tomorrow, because Burrow is so young you think we’ll have more shots, but it’s really f*cking hard to win one so we better win.” I imagine that’s how a lot of you guys feel today.

Ordered some LaRosa’s, gonna grab some Coneys, maybe throw my Reds gear on and root for Cincy for him and the others like him who have put up with **** Cincy pro sports for years and not be bitter about taking the L a few weeks ago.

Side note - Was really cool to take HIM to the game instead of the other way around. We have season tickets we split but there was something neat about that experience of paying it back. Cmon John, let’s make a f*cking run - being a drunk idiot college kid, I didn’t fully appreciate the importance of that bond in 2012 and need to make sure we get the experience again.

And I’d like to shut the Bengal detractors on here, with their stupid Bengals roll eyes comments, Steelers bragging, and trashing Bengal fans as the worst, the **** up.

On the spectrum of being a Bengal detractor on one end and claiming "they deserve a championship" on the other, I'm in the middle ground here. I still think that organization is trash for screwing John Q Taxpayer from Cincinnati, and I hate to think the owners get rewarded for that. And the fans intersect with a lot of Ohio State types too.

rudd - surprised you haven’t chipped in on my “Bridge” thread. Of all the people on here, I had you pegged as someone that had played. Not sure why, but you came to mind when I posted it.

I’m just an NFL fan, and so I have brisket in the slow cooker and a brisket in the smoker.

Just pulled up to Back Deck BBQ(drove by my child hood home) for about 50 wings.

Decided people coming over is fine. Not sure I’m up for bourbons although the idea of an old fashioned with the black walnut bitters I got just before I was sick is making my mouth water.

Grab some beer anyway.

The very thought of a GYERO Bridge Club, with all the redass and chirping, makes me chuckle. 😂

You all are starting to get up there in age. It’s the next logical step in your evolution.

Oh and whoever posted teams that they are worried about could beat us and listed Purdue second, at home against Maryland and up 1 with 7 to go 49-48.

This team I guess could get slowed down into a rock fight, but I think it takes 65 to beat us at least every game!

Purdue is overrated.

If we’re healthy, I don’t think there IS a team that IS better than us.

when this team is locked in/motivated and, as I said, healthy, we’re literally beating the **** out of people. Mentally and physically. Sometimes it looks like we have 7 players out there.

Perfectly fine with people rooting against the Bengals. It’s sports and I’m sure we’ve been annoying.

But Steelers fans can F off. Let us have our moment. You don’t have to pop in like a-holes.

My oldest friend in the world is a Steelers fan, and his absolute misery about all of this is gold.

Steeler fans that have no geographic connection to them, along with Packer, and Cowboy fans are the absolute worst.

my only saving grace re:the Packers, is that they were absolute dog **** for 2 decades after I started pulling for them, so I paid my dues etc. Cowboy and Steeler fans are THE definition of bandwagon dickheads.
