For all that we hate the auburn player, 0, at least he resisted the urge to do this to the Arkansas guy on the last dunk the other night. You could tell he thought about it and wanted to but pulled back. This Clemson guy is a pos and should be done forever.

That dude should never play another game in CBB. If the NCAA would grow a pair and bring the hammer down on that kind of crap then it will stop. A play like that could easily end a players career.
That play could have ended a player's life if he flips and lands on his head.
One of the dirtiest takedowns I've seen in over 40 years of watching college bball. Usually it's a big arm swipe vs that BS shoulder block undercut.

Reminds me of the fall Rex took where he broke his transverse process. It wasn’t a dirty play like that but it was a similar fall. I think it was against LSU but that was along time ago

Didn’t watch but wasn’t it a Dukie that busted the UNC’s guy’s face (name escapes me but their best player) Hansborough maybe.

Duke player lands on his head and he’d have more to worry about than his playing career.

Thank Goodness he wasn't hurt. Definitely should be punished but saying he attempted to kill him a little extreme. Football way more collisions, body is just covered up. No blood, no broken bones, maybe a bruise. No way I condone this but...
Silly comparison. Rugby has harder hits. These guys weren't playing football or rugby, they were playing basketball.

Terrible foul, obviously, but the Duke player made it worse by grabbing the rim. If you're going to grab it in that situation, you better hang on. If he hadn't grabbing it at all, the fall wouldn't have been as bad.

It was interesting to see K and the Clemson player make nice at the end of the game. I think that kid just lost his head for a second, which is all it takes. He seemed apologetic. Everyone is so quick to just demand that he be thrown out of basketball and such. Unless he has a history of dirty play then you just chalk it up to a dangerous lapse in judgement during a split second timeframe.

Meh! Some of the antics from the old John Thompson coached Georgetown teams of the 80’s make this look weak.

That’s awful and nobody should be defending that garbage. Moore could have been seriously hurt.

Now, with that being said, I do think it’s beyond hypocritical for K to tongue lash anyone on injury causing plays after having his mad dog named Allen out on the court every night and NEVER suspending him for more than 1 game.

I am always scared to death when our guys have those breakaway situations. Any foul from behind on those plays should automatically be two and the ball.
They used to call them that way, it was treated it as a technical foul. I'm not sure when or why that was changed, maybe it was when flagrants were introduced.

Undercutting someone in the air like that is as dangerous as it gets in basketball. The potential for serious injury is worse than any hard or dirty hits in football.

Folks were complaining that Stackhouse and Vandy were dirty....nope....that is a "dirty" play.

Can't stand Duke but kudos to their players for not escalating it further. That could have turned into a full out brawl.

This is interesting. Now that they get NIL deals, wonder if the schools or conference could “fine” players or suspend NIL deals to prevent situations like this.
