Oscar for me! I love that kid! Go watch the first few games and his growth is insane.

He will carry us to #9!
If Oscar came back and was eligible for NIL, how much would you sign him for?

Gotta think he'd bring in multiples of what Levis is capable of bringing in.

I would think if he was willing to put in some work we could do $1,000,000. These things are new territory. If UK fans are crazy as I think he could make millions if handled properly. I’m learning as I go but willing to learn as I go on Levis and Oscar.

If we can figure this thing out we could really make waves in football.

That would be awesome. I was thinking $500K but the more the merrier.

I'd love to see him get his family over here and set up.

FYI Brady, Sweeney and Streble are talking about you and your NIL deal with Levis on ESPN 680 right now. Unsurprisingly, Sweeney doesn't think he is worth that deal.

Helped catch a loose dog and get him back to his home today.

A fella heading home from work saw dog in the road and chased him into the alley off a busy street, I got dog to come to me, and another neighbor had his phone with him so he called the number on the tag and talked to dog's owner. I walked dog back to his house.

Pretty cool seeing several people drop what they were doing to make sure he was safe.

Did Waterhead just have a great idea?

MITCH MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

I'll tell you a million dollar app idea... Wayne's NIL app.
  1. Log in to Wayne's NIL app
  2. Select the team you like (e.g., Kentucky Wildcats basketball)
  3. Select the players you want to pay
  4. Set the parameters for how they should be paid (e.g., $0.50 per pt, $1 per rebound, $10 per TD)
  5. Set limits on how much in total you want to spend (e.g., don't exceed $100 / year)
  6. Players get notified that this is what they're going to get
  7. ???
  8. Players profit
  9. And Wayne's NIL app gets 5%
Looking for investors.

@bradyjames - you want to go in on this? I can get the app developed.

The trick is tying it into financial forms so you can generate the tax forms at YE to make it easy for the players receiving the funds.

I'm glad Vern's getting a victory lap but it doesn't change the fact that Cal needed to make some adjustments within the program. He has and it's paid off in spades to the tune of our best team since 17' and possibly the most likeable since 15', 12', 10'...ever?

This team doesn't have to use volume 3's to create an efficient offensive attack for a few reasons:

1. You absolutely cannot leave Grady or TyTy when they are in the game, their presence creates space.
2. Oscar is such an elite offensive rebounder he has the rare "rebounding gravity" where multiple players stay on him rather than play help defense (AD had this).
3. Wheeler is fantastic at pushing the pace and not allowing us to be lulled into "walk it up ball", something many of Cal's teams in the past would fall into.
4. Brooks' mid-range game and Toppin's cutting have become legit weapons that force teams to guard them.
5. We have a 6th man combo-guard who can get NBA Jams hot at the sight of just one shot going down.

It's the very rare basketball team where almost none of the players have offensive talents that overlap and they compliment each almost perfectly. We avoid the injury bug and I think we are bayou bound.

Perfectly stated -- and the opposite of "position-less" basketball. This is a team of pipe-hitting ninjas whose skillsets compliment.

Basketball does not get finer than that.

Thank you for getting that dog home, 80! I do this whenever I can. I’d like to think the universe would return the favor if my dog ever got out.

I even met a neighbor on a run years ago when getting a dog to safety and we’re still friends with them to this dad and the husband is our financial planner.

Dogs are good.

Still in touch with the neighbor whose house you randomly knocked on the door and shat in?

Dog Karma is real. Last year we had been looking for a companion for our dog, after our 2 others had passed in the year prior. We searched for several months, never found the right fit.

In November we found a stray up at the Arboretum. No tags, so we spent a couple of hours taking him to MedVet so they could run his chip, then found the owners and returned him.

One week later, we found a rescue in a foster home that we have absolutely fallen in love with. Three months in, he's already perhaps my favorite dog ever - out of about 10 over the course of my life. We are thrilled.
