- The Rams are a damn four seed just like us. Tired of people acting like we’re dealing with the ‘85 Bears. F them. Not like ‘81 and ‘88. We have the better QB now. LFG

- UK football fans get it. Few others do in regards to Bengals fans right now. Surreal reading articles in national rags lauding us for our 8-man scouting staff and other stuff that used to be universally mocked, even by fans. My feelings right now are unprecedented. Can’t really describe them. Mix of excitement, anxiety over my confidence, confusion, and guilt for giving up on them after that Steelers playoff loss a few years back.

- Prayers for my wife please. Really struggling with the stresses of what to wear on her Vegas girls trip next weekend.

- @RibsAndWhiteBread how are you? Hang tough - things will get better in a couple months … then keep on getting better and better and better.

- When I was little, my crazy Uncle Davey was the best. He was hilarious. Lived in Florida and worked at Universal Studios- got us first in line for all the rides. Made every one of his 15 nieces and nephews feel like we were his favorite. Wasn’t until my high school graduation party and he got hammered and acted like an idiot that I realized he was a loser. Dad never let on. I lost a lot of respect for him that day. Never looked at him the same. He passed away 6 years ago. Heart attack out of nowhere. Imagine the drinking and drugs. Was the only time in my life I had tears well like that and not stop for hours. Really wish I would have looked past his flaws and loved him for being the sweetheart guy he was.

Says who?

I looked it up, I’m an expert now. The Rams and Bengals are damn near identical in terms of offense and defense production. This will come down to which QB has the biggest dick…
One of the few concerns about Burrow in the draft was his relatively small hand size, so you may want to bet the Rams then.

It will come down to Cinci OL watching SF game film against Donald, Miller and Leonard. What SF was able to do upfront was amazing, and if Cinci can get in their way at all Joe has a shot.

That said it’s Mixon to watch. Quick draws, screens etc to keep them at bay will also be huge!

Damn I hope Zac Taylor can pull this off.

Just booked a hotel room for tomorrow night in Sedona. Man, this place is awesome. They just sent me an email saying they take extra precaution to thoroughly wipe down their front desk area, AND they don't do any room/towel/linen service for stays under 3 days. These people will stop at nothing to save the world from covid-19.

One frame of the Adidas ad should have been two silicone disks and a penis. Inclusivity means inclusivity. They gotta bra for that.

The McDonald's menu hacks not including the McRib patty on any of them is pure ********.
Your devotion to the McRib is an underrated GYERO meme. I don't think I've ever even had one. Maybe it's time.

I'm more of a Taco Bell fanboy. The new chipotle crispy chicken taco is fantastic, btw.

- Trying Weekend Burgers over in Fairdale area tonight. Kids and wife are burger connoisseurs, burger cheese and bun. Can’t wait to see what they think.

Vday reservation at LouVino. Never been and the choices are set.

Not sure on a Super Bowl menu, I’m really split between watching it alone and having a few folks over. I haven’t had a drink since Xmas eve and not sure I’m up for it.

- Speaking if not up for it, I’ve been back to work on both the lumber and bourbon sides. Been feeling great to be honest and have kept weight in the 250-255 range. So I decided yesterday to start pushing and exercise. The wife second guessing me tags along for a walk with the oxidation thing for me to wear. I’ll be damned if 5 minutes into a walk I’m in the 80’s, MFer!

And of course she forces me to stop. I mean I love ya, even have a a helluva life insurance for ya if I kick the bucket………but please let me push myself my way damn it!

- I’m with whoever said TyTy should run point more. Couldn’t agree more with that, and in fact even though I love Wheeler he reminds me more of a spark plug off the bench type guy. Sure I know he’ll start and should, but I won’t be surprised at all if when given that point role TyTy just destroys opponents, even if it’s not until he is in the NBA. It’s coming.

- Russ missed his first game of the season last night and the lakers lost to a tanking Portland Trailblazers with no McCollum or Lillard.

Lebron and AD were bested by Anfernee Simons and Jusuf Nurkic.

I blame Russ though!

- CPS tried to give of us the SIL’s 4th kid last night who is 2. This is the kid of the guy I helped get away from said SIL about this time last year. Dumbass idiot got back with her at some point and I’m sure it’s because it made life easier as a single dad. He is a repeated Herion user and rehabbed a few times and was clean for quite awhile and holding a job. However, she is a methhead and can’t test clean for going on a year now, and amazingly he tested positive for meth.

Seems odd as really and truly he has no drug issues except heroin.

Anyway, we can’t do it! Truly sorry but seriously we are at a tipping point period.

And yet part of me knows come 2/24 when we have court next, this little dude who has never been allowed to see us will be stripped from his parents and probably be in our house. A 2 year old who has never really been around us since being an infant.

Should be a f’ing blast!

You are an incredible man (and couple) for taking those kids in. Mucho, mucho respect. Might want to talk with the social worker about getting some respite time if that hasn't been brought up yet.

With TyTy running point and Wheeler on bench, the offense has all 5 guys with the ability to shoot from 15’-out at a high clip and better space to operate with Mintz and Grady bombing 3s. Hell, TyTy has a great stroke too from out there.

But, with that lineup, TyTy can drive better too.

Wheeler on floor, we are a better defensive team.

Burrow has a unique opportunity to come seemingly out of nowhere to be the presumptive best QB in the league.

Out of nowhere....yep, it wasn't like he was a 6th round pick or something crazy like that. How many went before him...I can't recall.

Best QB in the league....only if 4-5 others decide to retire immediately.

Wheeler keeps us in attack mode. Generally, I love him but he can get into a funk. Cal needs to have a quick hook. Washington is a helluva alternative and as you mention, that line is tough to guard.

It seems like he stacks mistakes together. So it's nice to be able to stop that flow and let Tyty initiate for a bit. Worked like a charm Tuesday night .

Brooks becoming a legit offensive threat is so massive. Now who do you lay off? You have to guard us straight up.

So, I guess UKO pretty much settled it then; Joe Burrow is the top QB in the league.

Hey Cole - are you talking about the 4 or 5 other QB’s that are sitting at fvcking HOME this weekend?

I’d sure like to know 4 or 5 that you think are better. 🙄

- Gonna need a new team if MY Blazers deal for Ben Simmons. I can't get with that garbage. Same goes for James Harden. Woj now reporting that Harden WANTS to get traded to Philly but doesn't want to make a formal trade request because of the fear of backlash. So now he's gonna get backlash anyway. Good.

- One terrible side effect from the transfer portal is that because "Recruiting Guy" on Twitter retweets every single transfer announcement, you get double the number of social media commitment announcements. Never mind those coming from HS kids...that's a big deal, congrats to them. But I don't need to see a tailor-made graphic announcing that you're transferring from Towson to Buttmunch State.

- Booker and Geese out here on Woodford County social media fighting the good fight vs. the local school board on masks. I think that dam is about to break, everywhere where there's a modicum of sanity.

- Upset special tonight...Michigan over Purdue.

- "Murderville" on Netflix is a great new watch.

I’ll take the good with the bad regarding Wheeler. It’s a darn luxury after last year to have a true point guard who facilitates and puts so much pressure on a defense causing them to scramble and then an open look for Kentucky.

He had a mini funk around the Notre Dame loss where teams dared him to shoot and the staff worked on his confidence. I’m confident this will happen again. Teams are starting to cut off that spinning bank shot at the rim but are giving him wide open looks right within the free throw stripe where the SEC logo is. He needs to start hitting that again and when he does.. Forget about it. I don’t know how you can defend this team.

rewatched highlights of it last two games and have a whole new appreciation for how cohesive and smart at high speed these guys are

Absolutely capable of winning it all and should at LEAST be a final four participant

Their roles are so — obvious and effective that they COULD end up AS GOOD as our last title team

Oscar and Anthony are the only companions where i think that 2012 team was definitely better - but not ridiculously so

I think our PG situation is more effective and dangerous than we had with Teague

And i believe Toppin / Brooks are better than Miller Jones collectively

Bench is better too and Grady / Lamb are close too i guess

I miss Swervin/Mervin Rod Strickland though

He just looked superfly cool on the bench A kind of stoned too now that i think of it
