Will do.

ABQ is alright. The north and especially the northeast part of the city is absolutely beautiful, that’s where I lived. But much of the southwest side is rough and there’s a lot of pockets of ghetto. I dealt with my fair share of non English speakers looking to do nothing but make trouble..I was happy to leave but still have friends there I’d like to visit
I lived there in the early 80s. I'm sure it's nothing but a shadow of what it used to be. I was 10 years old in 5th grade riding the CITY BUS to school and home every day. That's how safe it WAS.

I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer the weather here(SE KY)...with a few exceptions. Lived in Jupiter Florida from mid 90's to 2002. It was nice for awhile, but it kinda got old. Although I have an uncle in Wisconsin....not sure I could handle the winter weather he describes.

Being able to play golf in February never gets old.

Not having to shovel snow, like, EVER, never gets old.

Some ice and a little snow in southern Indiana. Not horrible but still slick out here. Be safe all!

Played my last round of season December 30th.

I was planning on playing MLK Day but the forecast totally changed in a matter of days. Went from playable to freezing and a no go.

Usually am not able to get out in Jan/Feb...March is more doable but for a morning golfer like me it requires hand warmers 🤣

I must say playing true spring and fall golf...nothing better.

Georgetown lucked up. I think it rained about 6 hours longer than forecasted. Otherwise like most of you, we would had been in trouble. One thing I’ve learned from reading this thread, we definitely have fans all over the world lol! Vacations should never be a problem, somewhere to crash no matter where I go! 😁

Got off work today at 3 made it to the bank where I see a sign was posted due to the pending bad weather we close at 330 today, I ask the teller what the bad weather they was referring to she said well it's gonna get dark and cold soon so we are closing early. I told them it's Fri and they have lost their minds, people need thier bank on Friday and the pathetic service they are giving is as bad as it looks. So yesterday they close at 2pm when it's 38 and raining and 2day they close at 330 because it's gonna be dark and cold.

This “storm” was like a kitten. I’m in southeastern ky and I was without power for 5 days last winter. Now that was a storm.

Forecasters are the worst and they make the best $$$$
Been trying to give Chris Bailey sum trust, seems he tries to pump the worst case scenario for more clicks. I have lost all trust for the local station when they took a direct hit from a ef4 and didn't even see it coming. I mean it was radar indicated for a while and they was ready to go back to regular schedule program. Now the winter weather they have a good idea of temperature and that's bout it. Usually just look at the the models and blindfold myself and write down a 3day forecast.

5 days? Rookie numbers

We went without power for 14 days in western KY during the ice storm in the 90s. Yeah. THAT sucked.

Still remember making chicken noodle soup over a couple candles. Yeah wasn't ready for the storm that time. I think it was nine days.

Not much you can do for nine days. Except have a ton of canned food. Especially back then. Generators were only available for really well off people, Lots of houses still on fuses which had a tendency to blow when poles and lines came down. No smartphones.

It was books and puzzles for entertainment. I can’t imagine some of these kids having to deal with that these days.
