There’s a large area called “the War Zone”
i had a coworker/friend that lived there. Gullible little guy who overcame childhood cancer and was a bit weak and naive
anyway, visited him one time. I’m sitting in his apartment and we see this woman climbing some steps. High heels, red lipstick, skin like leather, wearing something provocative
He was like “I see her around here all the time, goes to different apartments, she must be a maid”
“Terry, that’s a hooker”
blew his mind
Worked at a Best Western once for a month. Had a lady staying there who would come to desk each morning and ask for 25 - 30 key cards, then leave. Three hours later she’s back, and wouldn’t see her again til next morning.
Drove through two years ago. Was going to crash out. There for two hours. Saw a dead person. Had a couple weird interactions. Kept on driving for a while.
Cold doesn’t bother me and I wear shorts everyday and love snow storms. The Ice is getting old. Last year was awful and now getting more.
wonder why we aren't hearing anything from the global warming people?
We’re having a heat wave here in Alaska. 21° The snow will be on the ground for only 3 more months. Only saw two cars flipped over on the highway this morning so things are looking up lol.

We are iced over in southern Campbell. I've already shoveled the driveway once....back to more than it was when I shoveled the first time just 3 hours ago.
Used to be one at a place called Johnny Malloy's in-between Ft. Myers and Naples. It dropped off the alumni list...not sure why. LOTS of rich alums down here usually means a fundraiser at the Ritz with Capiluto attending.
Because global warming is about climate. Today’s event is about weather. There’s a huge difference.

Yep, sitting here and about to pop my head outside. You can hear the difference in how it sounds outside here in Lexington.

I'll keep my four seasons....Fall football, summer at the lake, Spring Derby and dogwoods, Winter by my fireplace in a recliner watching the Cats on tv and snow out my window.
Florida's a nice place to visit imo.
Agree. Humidity almost all year long? Yuck.
It's pouring rain here in Elliott county. It'll have to be a doozy to top last year's. We had 3 inches of solid ice on everything.
They moved the goal post. They call it climate change now and weather extremes is what they call proof, lol.

Heavy ice here outside of Murray at KY Lake. Trees popping, limbs falling, lights flickering.. But lots of dry firewood on hand.
I like how every natural disaster is just called climate change now. Like there was never a natural disaster before Al Gore made wildly inaccurate predictions in a propaganda flick.
Don't get me wrong. When my wife retires we will hit Florida for a few weeks in Jan and/or February. But no way I would want to be anywhere but Ky in the Fall, Spring and Summer.
Year round humidity, bugs, tourists, sun, sand and hurricane watches every year is not for me at all.
I would love to go south for the winter, but I can't get my wife to leave the grandkids more than a week or so at a time.
11” of snow yesterday and -10 last night here in CO. I enjoyed taking out the trash in flops and taking the kids to school in house shoes. 
Johnny malloy's was dropped as a UK meeting place because they refused to turn on the volume of the UK game when other events were being shown on other TVs
Looks like Murray and Princeton go the worst of it. Sleet and wintry mix falling in Hoptown now.
Currently planning a move to the gulf near Florida. Can’t wait. So sick of the west Tennessee area. I’m in a perpetual state of depression every single day.
