Have you ever seen my internet friends on GYERO discuss steaks, restaurants, music, fashion, movies, cheese or favorite ice waters? Is there a more sanctimonious group of people than the ones who hold a vote for the baseball hall of fame?

Some of these people didn’t grow up on randomly flavored schnapps in the Party Source parking lot and it shows.I like how Blackhaus still gets blamed for the legendary Vandy debacle because everyone blacked out and forgot about Huber's jars of moonshine.
Blackhaus is freaking blackberry schnapps. Huber had rocket fuel in a mason jar. I had plenty of both and I managed to only catch myself on fire 2 or 3 times on those portable heaters.
Some of you need to know your limits. You'll never catch me getting so drunk that I pass out or play drums with a spatula or puke behind a Wendy's the next day on the way home from a game. Grow up.
I'd do it all again right now.
Take your own advice.Honestly, I'm kind of sick of UL being such a laughingstock **** show. Schadenfreude only goes so far. I wish they could hire Pearl, as he would destroy there and the rivalry would be so much more fun. Won't happen though, for reasons mentioned here. But Auburn > UL is way off, and not one of those reasons. Just a terrible take.
There's your list and seems perfectly reasonable.Per Forde:
Painter
Cronin
Forbes
Holtmann
Pope
Willard
D. Hurley
Murray St's McMahon
Counterpoint: It's Louisville. I don't know if you have followed what goes for normal over there but it's been an "Always Sunny... " episode for the last 10 or so years.UL is hiring a new president, new AD, and still trying to get over the stank of Ramsey/Jurich.
They’re not hiring Pearl.
Trust me when I tell you that this is a minority opinion.Honestly, I'm kind of sick of UL being such a laughingstock **** show. Schadenfreude only goes so far.
Oh, I agree. I think he can play for a long time just because he knows his value and is committed to exploiting it which is pretty rare. He's also great because you're not going to have issues with him.Bam may be a bad comparison but Montrezl Harrell isn't. If he can have a long NBA career, then so can Oscar.
This is the only perspective that any self respecting UK fan can have* LOL at not wanting Louisville to be a laughing stock... F that. I'm still pissed that they bailed on the game this year. They deserve every GD ounce of this ****.
Spot on.Really hard to be an NBA big now without being able to make an outside shot or protect the rim (ideally both). As much as I love the guy, Oscar can’t be trusted to do either. His defensive awareness has significant lapses, he still struggles to defend the pick and roll, and he is an average passer out of the post. These are crucial skills for an NBA big. Not to say he won’t help a team at all, but I don’t think he projects as a starter.

Bingo. Bam is a crazy athlete and Harrell is not far behind. Not good comparisons* Oscar just isn't that athletic and is an average defender. Way above average ball handler for his size and has decent range. Maybe he sticks on that and rebounding but I just don't see it.
Biden pledged to nominate a black woman on the campaign. I bet it will be Ketanji Brown Jackson, who was on D.C. District and is now on the D.C. Circuit.Breyer retiring. Another chance to see the President and the Senate engage in reasoned, civil debate.
He definitely has limitations and may never be more than a role player off the bench. All I'm saying is that his work ethic and determination could result in a long NBA career. He has shown improvement since his time at West Virginia. Why can't he continue to improve?Really hard to be an NBA big now without being able to make an outside shot or protect the rim (ideally both). I agree Harrell is a good comparison and if you watched what Denver did to him in the 2020 playoffs, it becomes easier to understand why the NBA might not be salivating over him.
