I know I'm not a doctor but isolating yourself in your own home to a specific room doesn't do anything. No better than a cloth mask or plexiglass at a register. Not trying to start a fight but I do understand airflow and indoor air quality pretty well and you're breathing the same air no matter where you go. Best bet, crack a few windows if you don't have an hrv/erv. Now, her feeling bad enough that she can't be dealing with that stuff is completely reasonable, and as a big time MAN SICK guy, I GET IT!

What actually sucks is the unknown. Like every text message that comes through being terrified your life is going to be upended for another 10 days for school daycare quarantine/NTI (I think we're on 5 with more coming I suppose). ****, I don't think MCF's kids have been in full week since Thanksgiving.

How am I gonna work? There goes my vacation days? My kid isn't sick but has to stay home. Cancel plans for the 5th time. Cancel vacation the day before. My kid isn't learning anything for another week. Should I send them to their grandparents after being exposed?

Parents, mainly Moms, are taking this f*cking thing on the chin. Just an absolute gauntlet the last 2 years. Especially single parents. Which is odd, because kids aren't in any sort of unusual danger from covid.

Pearl isn’t leaving the SEC for that shitshow. They’re broke. They’re a mess administratively. Their roster sucks. They’ve got probation coming.

Frankly, no one worth their salt wants that job right now. It’s a fine gig but they overestimate the prestige. Pitino only went there because of the UK connection. All things equal, it’s one of 30-40 decent college basketball jobs, a big step below the truly elite thrones.

And that’s when times are good.
No ****. IU would be smart to make a run when Vern gets his lips off Woodson.

But, UL needs to focus on a bridge coach. They can't go hire a 2 (ish)time NCAA offender. Old timer that can right the ship, clean up image, get them winning, and most importantly work through probation. Then go get **** right with an edgy hire.

Also, it is quite likely they literally cannot afford to fire him.

And you installed the heat pump in the attic, bro. Perhaps I should be questioning the air flow qualities of the very products you sell, sir.
I can upsell you some legit indoor air quality if you're worried. IMO, the Reme Halo is the best easy solution on the market. 80 has a couple of them, he can attest they're bad mofos.

I'd say you all got lucky, your vaxes worked, or you had prior infections. Glad she's ok, got some alone time, and you have better perspective on the vid.

Good on air quality systems. Mother Nature's air filtration system, a rolling breeze from the banks of the Ohio River, is more than ample.

I'd be perfectly happy if UL ended up with Kevin Willard. And I think there's a chance that he's the best-case candidate for that gig, should it come available and he not be snatched up by Maryland first (I think they're aiming much higher).

Being a Bengals fan has long been the most self-loathing part of my sports life. I can barely hide my contempt.

I still remember the last Super Bowl vividly. Those were good times - good teams, good rivals, good QB, ivonic personalities, great line, good skill guys and a solid D. Of course, F’ing Montana.

But then you had the 90s - one of the more pathetic decades from a professional sports franchise in history. Just a truly disgusting run of poor draft pics, unlucky injuries, **** coaches and bad seasons.

Follow that up with the promise of the Palmer era - pretty much stomped out with an ACL injury on the first drive of his first playoff game. Guy was never the same for us.

Bring on the Dalton era - when you can’t trust your QB at all in a big game. Couldn’t even get your hopes up because you knew we’d wilt in the playoffs and we did. That Steelers playoff loss caused permanent damage to my fandom - the biggest in-game meltdown I’ve ever seen. I was done. I was so disgusted that I had a hard time even caring the last handful of years. I’d pay attention and watch some games but anytime I’d think about the Bengals I’d legit find myself shaking my head.

So, anyway it’s pretty remarkable how much confidence I have in Joe Burrow. He’s like scar ointment. The guy is just a winner. Ed Orgeron as your coach? Cool - we’ll rout Bama, Oklahoma and Clemson. Nine sacks? No problem. We’ll just bounce the 1-seed on the road.

I’m not sure we should be this far and it’s seems like lunacy that we can beat Mahomes (again) in Arrowhead but F me I think we have a shot all because of #9.
Dive into the QB stats — specifically Dalton’s post season numbers. His regular season stats, when the lights were off, he somehow managed to make a couple Pro Bowls. Then look at his regular season numbers, in prime time games — absolutely embarrassing. And probably the win or loss difference in a number of games. Then look at the playoff stats — yikes. It’s all time terrible.

Then look at Joey Franchise’s numbers — regular season, prime time, post season, etc. And he’s barely started.

-9pm game. Against MSSt, Almost guaranteed to have me pissed until 1am with a 6a leg day.

-I know he's the worst spreader of misinformation in the world, Neil Young hates him, but Ben Patrick on the Rogan podcast is fantastic for people with severe knee pain. Highly recommend.

-I guess we just assume the guards are both out. WTF is up with our injuries? Good lord it's something every year.

-Man, that Armagnac is so damn good.

-Haven't listened to the the new(old) Wayne mixtape, probably work on that today.

-New read -> 'The Botany of Desire: A Plant's-Eye View of the World' - basically plants own us. We're no more than honeybees to them. Just a means to evolve and prosper. F*ckers. I knew I couldn't trust grass.

-Had to pause the book on Daniel Boone. Early Kentucky history day by day isn't as enthralling as one would think. I'll jump back in later. Fairly certain the Natives lose.

Last night: "Is your homework done? Hello? G!! G!! Are you there? I can't tell what you're supposed to do? Hello? Wil you pay attention? Fine, I hope this is done right.
This morning 15 minutes before we leave: "I don't think I did my homework right."
🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬

Who the f*ck uses blocks and lines to count? How is that 21? | ◻️◻️◻️◻️◻️◻️◻️◻️◻️◻️

Maybe masks aren't the problem. F*ck. I'm screwed in 3rd and 4th grade.

-Amping up the workouts is working. Diet is... welp.

-I understand where SAE is coming from with concern and how difficult it can be but isn’t that the same exact process as people have been dealing with when a family member has pneumonia or the flu or mono etc for 100+ years? It’s not like it’s a new process that no one dealt with before Covid.

-Waiting for the arrival of furniture to put together in the coming days so today is flower/plant day. I absolutely love decking out the inside and outside of the house with plants. Bathroom, kitchen, living room, screened in porch, front porch all of it.

Snagged some hanging begonias and inpatients and couple bamboo plants to add to what we already have. Wanted some mandevillas but none in stock right now. Will also be adding a mass cane plant and a hibiscus or two to the porch as well as a firecracker plant and some birds of paradise, just didn’t have room in my KIA SOUL for them on this trip.

-I don’t even have a gal right now but I go back and forth on kids at this point. Some days you all and my friends make it look like the coolest thing ever and it is, but many days look like pure chaos.

I NEED routine in my life and even having a dog makes it more complicated so I can’t imagine kids.

Demos' is reasonable and their chicken/wild rice soup is dope. Old Spag Factory? No, it's not touristy slop.

However, it is nostalgic for me with the original location being in Murfreesboro. Used to go every Sunday after church. It's not great but I never had a bad meal there, TS.

Pretty sure I have the COVID, or the flu. Extremely sore, fever, and chills. Sore throat and sniffles. Waiting on my test result now.

Glad I went to Nashville to watch UK lose at a bar then to watch the Titans get 9 sacks and still lose. Hopefully the Bengals can beat Mahomes at least, but damn - great trip!

To my loyal constituents,

Over the past few days, I have been experiencing mild symptoms such as soreness, fever, chills, a sore throat, and a runny nose. Following the advice of my medical advisor, I immediately sought out a nearby urgent care treatment facility in order to be tested. It has come to my attention that I have in fact tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, despite a strict daily adherence to social distancing, handwashing, sanitizing, and masking. My team has begun to notify all that I have been in close contact with over the past week, and I will be following all CDC approved guidelines for isolation and testing going forward.

I am so thankful to the medical community at large, and the availability of life saving vaccines and booster shots, that I am on my path to recovery and not currently at risk of hospitalization or death. I plan to remain in my home isolated from my wife and children for the health official recommended time period, and look forward to getting back to normal life once I have fully recovered with a negative diagnosis.

God bless.

They need a Rich Brooks type to stabilize that mess.

Kids are awesome. Definitely not easy, but so worth it. Playing Mario Cart with my 5 year old, teaching him how to smack talk, helping him learn basketball/baseball, watching him go nuts for UK sports... I wouldn't trade it for anything.

This isn't football. One good class and any college basketball program is turned around instantly. UofL needs to make a great hire to turn around that mess.

I mean, they won't. But that's what they need to do.

Actually, it is...otherwise, we wouldn't have been taught to wash our hands like it was a completely new concept in the 21st century.

Speaking of football, are any of our WR transfers going to be an adequate substitute for Wan'Dale? I feel like missing that big play guy is going to be a bigger gap than we realize.
