Um false. Ryan Tannehill pissed the game away with that last INT. No need to force anything, and we weren’t rushing to run plays which tells me we didn’t mind OT.
He forced it to a player that barely saw the field all game and was covered well.
Terrible decision, and cost his team.
We weren’t perfect, nor was Cinci, but I’m happy for Cinci honestly because I think next week will be more fun with their offense that it will take to beat either Buffalo/KC.

McPherson’s performance the past two weeks has to be in consideration for top Bengals playoff performances ever. I mean he’s a kicker so no one is going to think of it in those terms….but what he’s done the past two Saturdays is pretty mind blowing. Dude is an assassin.
What I would give to have Kinnard on this team. That’s the only thing we’re missing. This team with even a league average OL is the best team in the AFC.

Loved McPherson’s comment after the game, when asked if he was concerned about where he might have to kick from. He said he didn’t care where he kicked from, because he knew he was going to make it.
Kickers get very little pub, unless they miss kicks like this, but this dude is badass. Easily the best Bengals kicker since Jim Breech, and probably the best ever. Speaking of Breech, he holds the team career record for most made FG’s in playoff games, with 9. McPherson has made 8 in two weeks.
I have an old photo of me from 1968, dressed head to toe in a Bengals uniform, including the helmet. That was their first year of existence. I was 4 at the time. When it comes to football teams, I’ve endured far more than any one fan should have to. But it makes times like today awfully sweet.
Well, SF/Cincinnati destined Super Bowl would just feed nostalgia to the likes one couldn’t explain.
