-I’ll never forget the joy my father and brother had as Stanford Jennings ran the kickoff back against the 49ers in the Super Bowl. It rivaled the reaction our twins got the first time they saw them. To this day I hate f’n Joe Montana. POS, even talked **** about Rudy.

-We’re in the box next to the Bengals owner tomorrow. And neither are well enough, at the moment, to come see it. There is a sadness knowing Father Time is undefeated. folks enjoy that time you have left with your loved ones. Time is our most valuable asset not $.

-This team is Final Four bound. The most fun I’ve had watching a UK team in years. They don’t whine/cry. They’re talented. They care about each other. All the stuff Cal says he wants in a team he has this year. We’re going to New Orleans.

-Will Levis NIL deal will be signed on the 1st. We plan to sell Pokémon cards to the entire state of KY.

-For the political balls. If the 60% in the middle could gang up on the bottom 20% on each side of the aisle this country would have a fighting chance to truly be great.

Cards will be lucky if they get a Willard/Holtmann level coach. They should just hire Kenny and see what he can do.

- I don’t want Payne at Louisville at all. Would hurt us in recruiting, I like the guy and it’s possible he’s a good head coach.

- Actually really enjoy Jeff Goodman and Robbie Hummel’s podcast.
I don't want him there either. I just think it wouldn't be a bad move on UL's part considering the position they are in, if they choose to make a move, of course. Luckily, most UL fans don't want him bc of his UK ties.

I'd be so conflicted watching Kenny Payne roam the sidelines at UL. Be tough to root against his success.

Has to be the hardest working man in the industry….James Brown.

The 4th vaccine is the first one that had any reaction. Sucker took me out for a couple of days. Can someone come up with a way I won’t be staring at my 27th round in 3 years?

Still not a huge fan of Dana O'Neil, but this article is pretty OK:

Secrets of the college basketball transfer portal: Rampant tampering, back-channel deals and ‘a f—ed-up cycle’ (link here)

“We signed three high school players early this year, and two of my three assistants were like, we have to stop recruiting high school kids right now. They were just frantic that we have to save scholarships for the portal. I mean, it was almost comical. I’m going to sign high school players early that are good enough, but I’m not going to take any chances. I think you go hard for the high school kids in the summer and the fall, the ones that can help you, that can play for you. Especially on guards and wings, I ain’t taking no chances. Bigs maybe, because they’re different. But I think that’s a mistake. You can recruit your way right out of your job. You need guys that can help you.’’

“I’ll be honest with you, would I prefer two or three transfers that I’ve seen play college ball? Hell yeah, I would. We got a couple freshmen. We don’t need more freshmen. We need to get older and win.”

Dana O’Neil’s beat is apparently every program I hate. I roll my eyes at every subject she touches on. I’ll read this one, though.
Meh, it's exactly what you'd expect. The only interesting quotes I posted.

In fact her format was confusing because you can't tell when the source changed. It's just continuous quotes.

Is there anything better than a big game in the Commonwealth? You wake up and everywhere you go - the gym, the coffee shop, Kroger- you see people decked out in blue and there’s this common feeling that we’re all about to head into battle. I love it. Love big games. I think it’s time Big Blue reasserts itself. F these imposters. We run the SEC.

There’s been three huge UK/Bengals weekends in a month. Our bowl game/ Bengals/Chiefs. Our thumping of UT last week/Bengals playoff drought ended, and now Bengals/Titans and UK at #1 Auburn. This has been an awesome few weeks for us locals. Hopefully tomorrow makes the best one ever (non championship version).
