Actually the only President in my lifetime I can’t say that about (even if I disagreed with them) is Trump. I think he was 100% concerned with how he could personally profit from the position. In brighter news, I went sledding today, hit some jumps designed and built by sadistic 11-year-olds, and didn’t kill myself. It was a fun day.
We just got back from Shriners where they were aiming for the trees and bushes. No ER visit so that's a victory.

Trump had this country humming at a level not seen in a long time before Covid. If he profited from it....well good for him. I'd argue his brand is worth way less than before he took office. Obama and Clinton were suddenly worth millions when they left office but a Pub can't cash in.
