What the 17 is that? I only scrolled through about 12 posts & stopped. Anonymous number ?? suggests a girls school so "Beta males" aren't around to throw themselves in protection?!

I'm not as old as my posts seem, but 17 it bring back school yard fisticuffs. Let's teach reality & ramifications again the hard way.

I was bullied & was also a bully. I thought it was the cycle of life. Who the 17 are rearing these sick 17ers?!

For context, "betas" are the guys who aren't popular who can't get girlfriends. That's what the "beta uprising" is about and why most of that terrible stuff is directed at women.

The Internet has made the world a lot smaller. That's awesome in so many ways, but it has also allowed these losers to seek each other out and form communities where they encourage each other. Sickening.

This isn't going to end anytime soon. These people have found an avenue for their rage and its mass killings.

"beta uprising?" Not everyone's an alpha. I don't consider myself one. So, they want to kill because...? I guess I'm ignorant for I truly can't comprehend.

The amount of so called "betas" on there celebrating a school shooting is horrifying. I graduated the same year that the Columbine shootings happened, from that day it seems like these random shootings just took off at an epidemic rate.

The TV shows Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead--- the characters always have a problem shooting a "person" but they soon don't even see the zombies as "people" anymore. But the scarier thing is our own reality---we have some people in our country who do not see other human beings as "people" anymore.

Yeah, I only made it through about that many - then curiosity got me and I checked for today's' date.

It was much worse.

Im solidly against big government, but I hope, pray, the Feds investigate and charge these little 17s in that thread with everything they can. I hope somehow they can charge all of them with domestic terrorism.

I don't get it either. Just looked into it when I saw this earlier today and didn't know what the hell they were talking about.

Obviously I don't think they're the brightest people in the world.

How many more innocent children, students, and civilians need to be gunned down before we have a national ban on guns? Does your child need to be killed, your brother or sister, father or mother?

This will never stop until we lay down our guns for the futures or our loved ones.

And don't give me that crap about only criminals have guns. Countries with gun bans don't have school shootings.

I never get into these threads, but are you suggesting a gun ban would keep guns out of crazy people's hands?

If you think that your "right" to own a gun is a fair trade for the possibility of your kids being killed at school then just continue on as normal.

Just to play devil's advocate, this particular school wasn't a gun free zone. Oregon has some pretty lax gun laws. Open carry has been in place longer then Mississippi.

Yea because those marijuana laws sure keep/kept people from smoking weed. What an idiot.

They'll find ways to get guns, they're criminals. Say you get every single gun out of the U.S. (Which isn't possible), then one of these crazies will bomb the schools, or set em on fire....they will never say "Ah, 17 it, I want to kill some people but I don't have a gun...Guess I'll just go read a book instead of committing mass murder". Get a clue.

Right, cause it's against the law to have a gun on campus there and it's against the law to kill people so if we make it against the law to have a gun then all will be fixed cause Shirley they won't break a 3rd law!****

That is a false statement. Oregon may have lax gun laws but it has been reported by the school administration that the campus is a "gun free zone". I guess the shooter didn't notice the signs, and a big +1 to Cadaver's post.

Just saw an interview on the news with a school administrator who said it was not a gun free zone. Maybe wording got in the way.

I couldn't make it through all of it. Just past understanding people like this. There was one poster that didnt seem to have context of english that didn't sound right, like a foreigner. Everyone who encouraged the shooter has a special place in hell for them.

Well damn I could be wrong also then. I just watched a interview with the school pres. and it was clearly stated that the campus is a gun free zone.

Like someone I spoke to earlier about this - I hope the government watches every damn website out there. I hope they know every move I make. As long as they don't mess with me if I am abiding the law - you can know everything I do.

And I hope it applies to everyone out there.

I'll bite.

What's your idea on how guns should be collected? You seriously think everyone would just hand em over peacefully? Take em by force? How do you account for them all? Taking them by force kinda treads on two amendments doesn't it?

And for everyone saying a gun ban should be in place, if you want to delete the 2nd amendment, you need to let other folks pick an amendment from the bill of rights they disagree with to delete. Which other one would you pick?

Lastly, why do the "ban guns" crowd only start crowing after shootings like these? Where have you and the executive branch of the US govt been all summer while hundreds of people die in lawless Baltimore and other cities ran by crooked idiots?

Nationwide ban on guns... In this country. LOL sir, just LOL. 4chan is definitely the ******* of the internet, and that was sickening. But my great great great grandchildren will be dead before a nationwide ban on guns happens in this country. There is definitely a middle ground that can/should be reached between the "give guns to elementary teachers and rentacops in every school" NRA crowd and the "well if we just pass a law that completely violates the constitution this will all go away" crowd.

My right to own a gun isn't a "right". It's allowed by the United States Constitution. Can you tell me why gun rampages happen in places where guns are banned, such as colleges/schools, movie theaters, Chicago?

Even though the site in question claims to be with anonymous posters, I am certain the NSA knows who the majority of them are. The internet isn't nearly as anonymous as some of these guys think. Even with all the tricks out there to hop around in attempts to hide who/where you are.
