That second unit and Pippen going crazy from 3 is what has kept this from being a 25pt game. Collins and Hopkins literally unplayable right now. No idea what happens both showed promise early. I really thought Collins would be a stud by now but his weight has been a huge issue.

Thank you. Zero bench points is my only gripe.

Why does Cal insist on subbing and letting them to hang around? Hopkins and Collins can't score most of the time. Leave the starters in till they get up 30 then let the guys that is not going to do anything go out there and bungle around.
Disagree. We have to develop players and give breathers. Can't really develop as much when game is not on the line. I do agree that he needs to not put in too many backups in at the same time.

We should hire Brooks as an assistant coach. We play so much better when he’s coaching the rest of the guys up on the sidelines. Or baseline in this case.
I agree with you that Brooks can be very frustrating at times. The truth is we need him though. When he gives effort, rebound, plays defense, it changes our team. Hopefully he can focus and put it all together.

I think everyone knows he’s a good PG, we just happen to have another All SEC PG as well, this will help us tremendously for later in the season. TyTy now has some experience being the primary ball handler in big games.
There was someone in this very thread that said Tyty can't set up his teammates just himself. And there are a couple of people who have said he isn't a good point guard. And I agree Wheeler is the starting point guard when healthy.

They'd be better if they came in and played the 4/5.

Instead, they play out of position at the 3/4 alongside another big.

Our bench sucks when you sub 3-4 of them in at the same time.

That is just dumb on Cal's part to do that crap.
It drives me nuts and I agree with you, it seems he is trying to get the bench going, push them along, this may not be the game for them. Or as you pointed out maybe just not all of them at once. Sprinkle Hopkins in with the other good players

Just stop. Cal was right in Toppin's face screaming like a banshee.

I told my buddy that Cal is fortunate someone doesn't shut him up and walk off the floor.
That’s a weird *** take. Players obviously have little to no issues with it.

Mintz, Grady, Oscar, and Mintz handled the scoring load, but Brooks was a good accessory piece. He didn't take any bad shots or make egregious errors.

No, the weird take is stating you can't hear someone unless they are screaming in your face.

The players have to deal with it or they will find themselves sitting over there with DA....until they transfer.

^^^^ This is the guy who keeps saying we don’t have a point guard lol.

Lol, where did I say that? Wheeler is one of the best PGs in the country. Tyty is the best Back up in the country. And saying Tyty isn’t a PG is a bit superlative. He can play PG for long stretches and we’re fine as long as Oscars in. If Oscar goes out, and Wheelers out, we’re not beating anyone unless Tyty goes for 40.

I thought you said that earlier in the game thread. My bad.
